The LVW series covers smaller applications with machines of approx. 500 mm width and large applications up to a width of 2000 mm, like pallets, bumpers and more. As a principle our standard machines are equipped with an hydraulic lifting table. Depending on the machine size a contact force of up to 70 kN can be applied. This is necessary for large suction pipes made of PA 6.6 GV30 with heavy distortion or very large welding surfaces. Our vibration welders are fitted with our patented CPC system. This kind of regulation which is integrated in the converter stimulates the vibration unit with optimal resonance frequency. A low energy consumption is guaranteed during the friction phase. It is not necessary to enter the frequency parameter in the machine, as it is permanently “optimized”. This, the KLN drive systems are independent from the tool weight. The tool weight is solely limited in height, caused by the mechanical design and the high accelerating powers arising in these systems.

Depending on type, multi-directional dampers can be loaded in every axis. In our standard vibration dampers of the GDZ series two all-metal cushions are installed. Depending on the assembly, these cushions are load with pressure or tension. Vibration dampers of the series 7 have another cushion obstructed which allows them to absorb load in horizontal direction additionally. Because of this, GDZ dampers are perfectly suitable for applications in the fields of plant engineering and rail vehicle construction. Damping cushions made of stainless steel are knitted and pressed in a special process. Depending on size, density and design it can be loaded in a range between 5 and 20.000 kg. It can be pressed in cylindrical or rectangular shape. Versions with bunches and steps are available. Standard materials are 1.4301 and 1.4404. Additional materials and special designs are on demand. EWS takes measures against vibrations in deep drilling procedures Deep drilling procedures with drilling rods with a long overhang are one of the most demanding tasks in cutting technologies. What influences vibration, what amplitudes does it create, what is the effect of superimposed vibration and when are uncontrollable resonances encountered? All these are questions that are difficult to answer using theory alone. These findings formed the basis for the new development of EWS Rigid. The objective was to create a drilling holder with a passive damping system to counteract the vibrations that are created. This involves using variable vibration dampers with linear degrees of freedom in a floating mounting inside the cutter carrier. The damper position is set using a radially mounted setscrew, which allows optimum vibration conditions to be created. The improvement in surface qualities of bores is significant, as is the increase in the service life of cutter tools.

This sensor for measuring exhaust gases was developed together with a Formula 1 team. The goal was to achieve the greatest possible reliability during the race. The sensor was designed so that it can withstand a maximum of vibrations and extreme temperatures while being made in a highly compact construction at the same time. The special feature is the connection lead. It is not made from the usual mineral-insulated stainless steel sheathed line, which is too rigid and which tends to vibration fractures. Instead, the line is made of stranded conductors with PTFE insulation and an additional heat shield so it can be easily and flexibly adapted to the environment. The sensor is being used with exceeding success by professional teams in long distance races, American race series and the domestic DTM. Vibration damper of the series GMF are especially designed for machine tools. The elements GMF-( )-4 are made to mount small presses or cutters. Depending on the size of the elements they have a load range between 250 and 10.000 kg. With vibration sorting, small batches / quantities can be processed individually up to 200 pieces per minute. Depending on the type of object, we recommend different designs / types – conical, cylindrical or stepped. Surfaces are preferably glass bead blasted or metaline coated (both variants have FDA approval). Mounting types are medium voltage and external voltage.

Monitor swivel arms for ergonomic workstation design The monitor mountings from RK Rose+Krieger allow for an optimal view of the monitor or a control panel. The range of action can be increased even further by using a swivel arm. This may be useful for carrying out set-up work on machinery for example, or if the monitor is having a disruptive impact on the working environment. Rotating Piston Absorbers are displacement absorbers using hydraulic flow resistance. They are used to damp rotational vibrations, e.g. absorbers for ropeway cabins (see VDIRichtlinie VDI 3833 German Association of Engineers, sheet 1). The design is customized. Due to different operating conditions, no standard design is possible. (see also VDIGuideline, VDI 3833 sheet 1)

Thanks to the high quality of their measurements, their high protection and long service life, these sensors are used in many technologies (industry, research, development, etc.).
