The modul µCAN.4.ao-SNAP features four independent analogue outputs which optionally provide a voltage or a current signal. The CAN interface supports CANopen and J1939 protocols.

Displacement and all mechanical values which can be converted to displacements (e.g. compressive and tensile force, strain, torque and vibration) may be measured by this DC/DC displacement sensor. Typical application areas are the measurement of displacement and strain on machines, servo systems, vehicles, on test plants, in civil engineering and tunnel construction. An integrated maintenance-free electronic and a high-level DC output signal provide an easy handling without any problems. Displacement sensors of series 87240 convert a displacement into an analog electrical signal. They consist of a differential transformer with moveable core, an oscillator and a demodulator. These components are integrated and encapsulated in a cylindrical housing made of stainless steel. The sensors are energized by DC voltage, which is converted to AC by the oscillator and brought to the primary coil of differential transformer.

Linear displacements and mechanical values which can be converted to displacements (e.g. compressive and tensile force, strain, torque and vibration) may be measured by these DC/DC displacement sensors. The probe tip of these sensors is pushed onto the measuring object by a spring. The µCAN.8.dio-SNAP is a freely configurable digital I/O module featuring 8 channels. Module ID and bit rate can be set via DIP switch or via CAN bus (LSS, CiA 305). The module supports the protocols CANopen CANopenFD and J1939.

The µCAN.8.pwm-SNAP unit is equipped with 8 outputs which provide pulse width modulated signals (PWM) within the range of 0% to 100% for controlling of actuators (valves etc.)

At its eight outputs the µCAN.8.pwm-BOX provides pulse width modulated signals (PWM) within a range of 0% to 100% for controlling of actuators (valves etc.). The outlets are overload and short circuit protected. The µCAN.8.pwm-BOX is connected with the central control unit via CAN bus.

The 8 terminals of the µCAN.8.dio-BOX may individually be set to act as digital inputs or digital outputs. The module preprocesses and filters the digital signals. Its CAN interface supports the protocols CANopen, CANopen FD and J1939.
