A broad variety of gas transmission cells are : Gas Cells analysis of gas & vapour phase components in IR optical spectroscopy. These range from short path length gas cells for percent level concentration measurement, to long path length gas cells for part-per-billion concentrations. Options include fixed and variable path length gas cells, as well as ambient temperature and heated gas cells. The windows that can be used with the gas cell include NaCl, KBr, CaF2, BaF2, or ZnSe infrared transmission windows, which are mounted in an optical spectrometer. With any filling device, a range of accessories can help produce a more efficient fill during maintenance tasks. EMT can supply a range of heated blankets and regulators to ensure if manually filling, the chances of a line freeze are reduced. Typically 20-25% of SF6 is wasted due to temperatures and pressures keeping the SF6 liquified. Our cylinder heater blankets evaporate the gas, increasing the efficiency of the cylinder, to ensure the maximum amount of SF6 can be recovered. This amounts to significant savings on maintenance costs.

Preparation is key when it comes to SF6 gas analysis. Ensuring the analyser is within calibration is fundamental to safe operation, compliant measurement and accurate testing. Our Verify NIST traceable verification gases can prove the instrument is in specification and valid for use in accordance with ISO9001 requirements for controlled measurement equipment. The fully encapsulating GTB is a Type 1A - ET reusable gas-tight suit covering both the wearer and breathing apparatus. Manufactured in our new Laminate Viton® material, the suit is lightweight and provides advanced chemical protection. The laminate Viton® material consists of a polyester fabric coated one side with orange fireproof DuPont™ Viton® and one side with grey thermoplastic with an insert barrier film
