A broad variety of gas transmission cells are : Gas Cells analysis of gas & vapour phase components in IR optical spectroscopy. These range from short path length gas cells for percent level concentration measurement, to long path length gas cells for part-per-billion concentrations. Options include fixed and variable path length gas cells, as well as ambient temperature and heated gas cells. Many laboratory and industrial processes require a constant flow of gas to be delivered, and this is normally supplied from pressurised cylinders containing gas in liquid phase. If the level of liquid reduces fast, frosting can occur on the surface of the cylinder and flow rates can be adversely affected. Our gentle and insulated heating solutions can prevent this phenomenon and restore stability to the flow rate. This is particularly important when using calibration gases where repeatability is vital. With any filling device, a range of accessories can help produce a more efficient fill during maintenance tasks. EMT can supply a range of heated blankets and regulators to ensure if manually filling, the chances of a line freeze are reduced. Rotafix Aquachem is a solvent-free coating used a membrane for tanking, waterproofing, gas barrier and as a high-performance floor coating. Rotafix Aquachem is a 2-part liquid epoxy that can be applied as a floor finish. Combining aggregates with the top coat creates a skid resistant surface. Adding flakes to the top coat will give a decorative finish. It has been used extensively in food preparation areas and medical environments as it is easy to clean, resistant to chemical cleaners and resistant to the formation of mould. Rotafix Aquachem can be used as a liquid applied damp proof membrane. The liquid membrane can be applied to prevent moisture ingress both positively and negatively. So if it is applied to the outside of a wall, water will not penetrate, equally if is applied internally then moisture penetrating the substrate will equally not penetrate. The average bond strength of Aquachem is 4N/mm2 , it would require a head of water of 600m to force the Aquachem to break away.

Our non-refillable calibration gas canisters are designed specifically for the calibration and bump testing of single and multigas analysers. We offer a wide range of gas mixtures, with the option of multigas mixtures too. Our 34L, 58L, and 110L gas canisters provide the ideal solution for functional testing of gas detection and analytical equipment and being lightweight and compact means they can be easily carried in the workshop or on site. All of the canisters in our range are disposable and can be recycled when empty by using our handy recycling tool.

The Merlin GDPX+ is a 16 zone gas pressure proving & detection panel which can be used in many applications, e.g. mechanical rooms, car parks, shopping centers and the most common being a boiler house application. Utilizing a solenoid valve and a pressure transducer the Merlin GDPX+ will check for a pressure drop or leak in the downstream line before allowing the gas to be supplied. Once gas has been supplied the unit will constantly check the incoming gas supply pressure to ensure that a naked flame cannot be extinguished by a weak draft.

The Merlin CO2-X can be used independently or can work in conjunction with one of our Merlin gas safety systems. In the event where the CO2 levels rise to a dangerous level, the Merlin CO2-X Monitor will sound an audible alarm to alert the user of the danger, automatically drive ventilation fans reducing CO2 & temperature as well as shutting off any connected utilities such as gas solenoid valves. An alarm condition can also be communicated to building management systems.

Gas turbine control system
