Cygnus ultrasonic hatch cover weathertightness tester has been ABS type approved and accepted by P & I clubs. This ultrasonic hatch cover testing device is used to perform quick and effective evaluation of cargo hold hatch covers and door seals to determine water leaks and weathertightness. This ultrasonic leak detection system allows inspections to be carried out with cargo in place or in subzero temeprature, replacing traditional and unreliable methods such as hose testing. The Cygnus Hatch Sure system comprises of 2 parts a battery powered transmitter containing 19 ultrasound emitters (40 kHz) which are arranged to produce an omnidirectional sound field uniformly distributed throughout the cargo hold; and a receiver which displays the sound energy level that passes through gaps in the enclosed cargo hold to enable the location of leaks to be quickly and accurately identified.

TANK FOR LIQUID COLLECTION SERIES FPB821/822R - WITH WHEELS The containers of polluting liquids must be stored in a safe manner, in order to prevent contamination of the aquifers in particular. The collection tanks are watertight, oven-painted with epoxy powders and the support surface is in hot-galvanized grating. Models equipped with highly smooth wheels can be easily moved inside the storage areas. The lateral safety bulkhead makes them suitable for storage. They can be lifted with a forklift or a pallet truck.

TIPPING CONTAINERS Tipping containers in steel sheet painted watertight, with the base fork mounted for lifting with a forklift. Liquids cannot seep through, could however seep around the set rivet, if the setting hole is too large. Therefore great care must be brought to fullfi lling the hole tolerances. The GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet – The structure For technical reasons, the rivet mandrel of the GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet must be fi xed in the rivet body. However this means that the rivet body can only deform slightly during the setting process. As a result, the cap blind rivet only has marginal hole fi lling capability. However this is necessary to be able to compensate large bore-hole tolerances. The GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet – Tight connections with care The above-mentioned technical situations make careful preparation of the application imperative. The hole diameter should be as tight as possible to ensure a fl awless function in the application for a long period.

The multi-composite frame is specifically suited for freezer applications as the composite material has a low conductivity for temperature. The frame is specially constructed to create a natural thermal barrier. The C FREEZER 5 is installed inside the freezer area. Double insulated triple-layer curtain The C FREEZER 5 has a flexible triple-layer curtain with integrated air mattress (U = 1,97 W/m².K) to reduce conductive temperature loss through the curtain. The sides of the curtain have additional sealing flaps for an enhanced peripheral closing on the vertical side guides. Thanks to this design, no additional sliding door is required for overnight closing.

This equipment was developed to test watertight function in grommet using an air pressurized chamber to simulate real conditions of water pressure applied to grommet, without destroying or causing damage to the electrical harness wires. It includes a workbench with a sealed chamber and an electrical cabinet with interface and control device.
