The Advance EnergyManager is a tried and tested design with an internal heat exchanger and shunt pump arrangement resulting in delivery of hot water equivalent to the volume of the tank at 43ºC. It works on the thermal store principle of storing primary (central heating) water and delivering mains pressure hot water through a heat exchanger. The shunt pump is pre fitted and wired to activate when taps or showers are turned on. The EnergyManager comes as shown above with wiring centre for installers to complete the wiring for the rest of the system. Full instructions for wiring the total system are included. At 65ºC operation the EnergyManager is perfect for underfloor or low temperature radiator circuits and offers efficiencies due to the temperature being lower than most thermal stores. It delivers hot water equivalent to the capacity of the store.

The Furnace Tracker Sealed Quench Systems from Fluke Process instruments feature the Datapaq TP6 data logger, a sealed & quenchable thermal barriers from the SQ00 range, thermocouples and our intuitive Insight™ software to create a complete solution. This system is designed specifically for the aluminum solution heat treatment process. The system features a fully sealed design incorporating a pressure relief system, which allows for the most efficient insulation and enables the system to travel through every stage of your process. It can also be used in other solution heat treatment processes up to 900°C (1652°F) such as that for Titanium. Kaplan turbines are typically used for river power plants on calm waters. The blade angle runner blades (Kaplan blades) is adjustable. The pressure of the water flow, which is controlled by the guide vanes of the upstream wicker gate, can then be efficiently converted into energy. The bidirectional MANOY® system seal WP, type 444, in the form of a continuous ring was developed to protect the hydraulic adjustment device and prevent hydraulic fluid leakage. Type 449 is particularly useful for maintenance work because rather than being continuous in circumference, the seal is open and has a guide blade.

Spherical valves are installed upstream of the turbine as shutoff devices specifically for high pressures at the end of the penstock. Their main function is to close off the penstock during normal shutdown or load shedding of the turbine. The seal is a metal sliding ring which is generally moved by water hydraulics. The MANOY® system seal WP, type 434 (outer sealing) and the inner sealing type 439, were developed for sealing of the sliding ring. The profile dimensions can be customized for maintenance or specific requirements.

The guide vanes control the inflow of water in turbines. These vanes run in sliding bearings. To give the bearings longer term protection from water infiltration, the inner sealing MANOY® system seal WP, type 428, was developed for standard specifications. Type 487 with integral scraper was designed for high specifications due to abrasive constituents in the water and/or long inspection intervals. The housing for this seal must be open. The profile dimensions of both versions can be customized to adapt to existing groove designs.

The function of gaskets is to prevent the leakage of medium outside the equipment. Static seals are used in many applications such as plumbing and heating systems, sealing fasteners, containers and pipeline construction. They are washers, rings or frames which generally are adapted to the whole width of the sealing surface. They can be used for example in flange connections of pipelines, pumps, motors, valves, etc. The gaskets are made of various materials such as: Rubbers, fiber plates, synthetic plates, graphite, PTFE, etc.

Pivot pins are found on shutoff devices such as spherical valves, butterfly valves, hollow jet valves and plunger valves. These valves are generally used for opening and closing and occasionally to control the flow rates by oscillating movement. The greaselubricated sliding bearing is protected against water infiltration by a seal on the inside. The seal also prevents the grease leaking into the inside to prevent water contamination. The MANOY® system seal WP, type 418, was developed for this application. To prevent leakage of grease from greased bearings, the unidirectional MANOY® system seal WP, type 456, is also installed.

Pelton turbines are used in hydropower plants with a high head. The sealing system specifications are equally high.Control of the turbine output is infinitely variable from part to full load by adjusting the nozzle spear valve. The control unit for linear adjustment of the jet needle can be protected against water and silt infiltration by the MANOY® system seal WP. Types 466 and 486 (both inner sealing) were specially developed for these applications. Types 461 and 481 are for outer sealing configurations. In the context of design, types 481 and 486 must have a split housing. All versions can be supplied with customized profile dimensions for existing groove designs.

Penstocks are used to discharge the headwater from a reservoir. Due to thermal and dynamic effects on the pipelines which are usually run underground in the mountain, compensation for expansion is necessary. By fitting an expansion joint, slow creep movements, eccentricity, dilation and also pipe misalignment can be reliably absorbed. The MANOY® system seal WP, type 436, was specially developed for leakagefree operation of an expansion joint.

Merbenit HM14 is a universal elastic adhesive with a chemically neutral curing system and excellent sealing properties. This sealing adhesive offers a wide adhesion range, good compatibility with paints and excellent sealing properties. Merbenit HM14 makes for easy and long processing and is grindable, coatable, and noncorrosive on surfaces.

The nozzle consists of two counter-rotating nozzle housings into which the nozzle tubes are inserted with a connection for screw-in round jet nozzles. A special packing sealing system inside the nozzle housings ensures protection during operation and prevents the ingress of contaminants. In front of and behind the nozzle housings are spacers (basket system) to prevent the nozzle tubes from hitting the well wall. In addition, for best cleaning results, the temperature of the medium should be between 3 and 30°C.

The pumps of the 3 series deliver operating pressures up to 250 bar and volumetric flow rates of up to 400 l/min and are the preferred choice in channel and tube cleaning applications.The seal system of this plunger pump is very easy to maintain due to fewer wearing parts. The ceramic plungers used are highly resistant to acid and alkaline liquids.

The highpressure pumps of the 2series with operating pressures up to 750 bar and volumetric flow rates up to around 230 l/min are ideal for cleaning pipes and tube bundles, containers and containers.The seal system of this plunger pump is very easy to maintain due to fewer wearing parts. The ceramic plungers used are highly resistant to acid and alkaline liquids. The 2series impresses with a good price/performance ratio due to long service lives – even in rough everyday work.

MODULAR LINE SEMIAUTOMATIC ANGULAR PACKAGING MACHINES Semi-automatic, angular machines offer maximum packaging flexibility, and a quality product at a competitive price. MODULAR 50S and MODULAR 70, which have recently been updated and revised, can be used to package products using any material, producing highly attractive results. MODULAR LINE uses an electronically controlled sealing system and the very latest safety devices. The lines can be used in automatic or semi-automatic mode, and the operating programs can be customised in order to simplify the packaging process and maximise productivity. MODULAR 50S and MODULAR 70 can also be used with the TUNNEL.

The PD200 is a professional impulse current measuring system to detect leak (holes) in non-conductive sealing systems and is suitable for leak detection on balconie, pond liners/swimming pools or flat roofs. In contrast to the previous model PD100, the PD200 has extremely compact dimensions - the size of the device could be reduced by more than 30%! These compact dimensions enable the transport of the PD200 e.g. through so-called safety ladders to the corresponding flat roof.The impulse current measuring system easily wins the weight comparison with its previous model. Although the single components partially are pretty heavy (e.g. the transformer), the total weight could be reduced by about 20% (from 11.2 kg to 8.6 kg). On top of the housing there are clearly visible signal lamps - one standard impulse signal (green) and one short-circuit signal (red), incl. integrated tone generator.
