The UVpad is the world‘s thinnest spectral measuring and autonomous UV radiometer. It combines scientific measurement technology with a compact and user-friendly instrument. With its innovative measuring principle, it doesn't use optical filters. UV light is spectrally detected and analyzed in the UVpad. Thus, measurements are traceable to national standards. Since it works without a filter, it is particularly suitable for the measurement and comparison of different lamps. All measurement data are displayed on the device immediately; 50 measurements are stored in the UVpad and can be read via USB. The supplied PC software evaluates the irradiance intensity profiles measured separately for UVA, UVB, UVC, and VIS. Spectrum and measurement data can be exported and saved. Optionally, UV systems can be optimized due to saved operating functions such as, for example, the absorption spectra of photo initiators. Thus, the operation costs can be reduced and the product quality can be ensured.

Xenon excimer lamps enable new, resource-saving and more efficient production possibilities. They are used in the field of surface treatment for matting, cleaning, surface activation or to save photoinitiators. For this purpose, the narrow-band spectrum around 172 nm is usually used to irradiate under inert gas conditions. Then the high photon energy is sufficient to split almost all organic compounds. The measurement of 172 nm (VUV) is an important component for process control and optimization. With the tinyTracker 172 we offer a calibrated band radiometer which is suitable for use in an inert atmosphere. The tinyTracker 172 is absolutely calibrated and measures the irradiance and irradiation dose of xenon excimer lamps directly at 172 nm. Due to its particularly flat design, the tinyTracker172 can be guided through the irradiation channels of UV belt dryers and other industrial equipment.

The RMD radiometer is one of the latest developments from Opsytec Dr. Gröbel GmbH. This easy-to-use radiometer is based on more than 30 years of experience in all areas of irradiation and illuminance measurement. It features a wide dynamic range and extremely low noise. For this purpose, the sensor already contains a multi-stage amplification, an extremely precise analog-to-digital converter and a temperature sensor. The memory contained in the sensor contains all sensor identifications and the calibration history. This allows several ultraviolet sensors and visible sensors to be used on the Radiometer RMD. A wide range of sensors is available for a wide variety of production and control processes. Two sensors can be read out simultaneously. Sensors for the evaluation of erythema-weighted radiation and multi-channel sensors are also available. The measurement data are clearly displayed on the graphic display.

The industrial spectroradiometer iSR900 is an autonomous and high-resolution measuring system for fast and precise measurements in the UV, visible spectral range and IR. The spectroradiometer consists of an array spectrometer without moving parts and a silicon detector with 2048 pixels. The spectral resolution is 0.44 nm. The iSR900 is combined with an SMA-905 quartz light guide and our radiometric measuring heads for irradiance and illuminance measurement. The iSR900 is factory calibrated to PTB. A DAkkS test in our accredited laboratory is optionally available. The iSR900 thus allows accurate spectroradiometric measurements for the evaluation of irradiance and illuminance. The low-scatter design achieves high sensitivity in the UV range. Control and data evaluation take place in the iSR900 so that only a USB or RS485 / RS232 interface is required for the evaluation. With trigger input and output the iSR900 is ideal for automated measurements.

40 years of UV experience and consistent product development enable the optimal performance and intuitive operation of the RMD Touch laboratory radiometer. This incorporates the latest technologies such as capacitive touch displays, precision ADCs, data storage, remote update capability and much more. This makes the RMD Touch one of the most powerful multichannel radiometers on the market with superior features such as highest accuracy, reliability and modular extensions. The RMD Touch allows simultaneous measurement of multiple sensors, recording of irradiance and dose. Each sensor channel contains a high-precision 24 bit ADC and a multi-stage amplification to achieve a wide dynamic range of up to 7 orders of magnitude. The measurement of all channels is performed simultaneously.

The German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW) and the Austrian standardization committee have defined the requirements for UV water disinfection systems with UV low-pressure lamps in DIN 19294-1:2020-08. This also specifies the design, function and opening angle of DVGW reference radiometers. The previous technical rule W294-3 and ÖNORM 5873 continue to apply to devices for drinking water disinfection with medium-pressure lamps. The sensors are inserted into a pressurized water-tight measuring window tube, which enables simple and reproducible replacement of the sensors. With an aperture angle of 160°, our sensors are suitable for precise radiometric measurement of UVC irradiance in UV water disinfection systems. We offer these with reference radiometer RMD. The RMD as DVGW reference radiometeris one of the latest developments from Opsytec Dr. Gröbel GmbH.
