Our revolutionary Halo system is an automatic metal detector testing device. It is designed to automatically test ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel samples on all Fortress metal detectors. Automatic testing saves time, money, labour, along with removing the risk of human error and work place injury at critical control points on a manufacturing line while complying with industry standards. The Halo system is ideal for applications where manual testing of a metal detector is made difficult due to access, position, access to the product flow, environmental conditions, etc.

The All-in-One module 2511 is predestined for use in automated manufacturing testing of high-performance battery modules and battery packs, regardless of whether they are round, prismatic or pouch cells. EOL test stand for e-charging columns and their power electronics for the simulation of different electrical loads and mains fluctuations. The test stand has automatic contacting and achieves high test throughputs in end-of-line operation. Different variants of the power electronics of electric charging columns can be tested. On the software side, Merecs Engineering relies on NI-LabVIEW and NI-TestStand.

The RESISTOMAT® model 2329 is particularly suitable for fast measurements of low resistances in automated processes. Up to 50 measurements per second can easily be performed. The device complies with the latest CE guidelines and is designed for laboratory use as well as heavy-duty industrial applications. A 2-fold and 4-fold comparator with switching outputs has been included for classifi cation and selection; this feature is particularly useful for serial tests. One special application involves the measurement of contact resistances (dry-circuit measurement); the load voltage in this case is limited to 20 mV in order to prevent fritting (DIN IEC 512). The RS232 (standard) and IEEE488, USB and Ethernet (option) computer interfaces allow the set-up of fully automatic testing stations. The PLC interface allows easy integration into your production process control.

We develop fully automatic test systems for inclination sensors and inertial sensors (MEMS, tilt sensors) according to customer requirements. With these systems, combined temperature and motion simulation is possible. We set quality standards with rate tables from Acutronic, for example. With the help of multi-axis rate tables, we can precisely position DUTs in end-of-line (EoL) test operations or for development purposes and calibrate and test them under temperatures of e.g. -40°C and up to 120°C. Merecs Engineering can also connect the test system to our customer's IT infrastructure, set up databases and automatic data analysis using Mircosoft PowerBI, so that important key figures such as First Pass Yield (FPY), process capability, system availability, statistics and trends are continuously updated and displayed on online dashboards. For example, more than 100 DUTs are possible per test run.

The system is a self-sufficient unit and is made of a solid welded frame, contains media preparation, a hydraulic unit, and electrical engineering. The pressure test bench has a secure test chamber for burst pressure and hydrostatic pressure tests and, optionally, a climatic chamber for pressure tests with environmental simulation. Depending on the option selected, pressure change tests up to 2,000 bar and 10 Hz can be generated. With the test circuit for hydrostatic and burst pressure tests, pressure ramps up to 3,000 bar can be generated. It is operated on a support arm PC. Before starting the test, choose test method, and estimate an initial mass and Δm. Start the test. If the first specimen fails, decrease the mass of the falling dart by Δm. If the first specimen is not a failure, increase the mass of the falling dart by Δm. Continue the test according to this rule. In brief, increase or decrease by Δm according to whether the former specimen is a failure or not. After 20 specimens, calculate the total number of failed specimens N. If N equals to 10, the test is over. If N is less than 10, add specimens and continue to test until N equals to 10.
