The dimensionCONTROL TMWI 8302.LC system is suitable for the inline weight inspection of continuous running rubber profiles (tread pattern or sidewalls) for passenger and truck tires. Based on the force measurement principle, the inspection system uses two load cells which measure the deflection of the measurement conveyor. These sensor elements are attached to a massive construction, which ensures a long-term mechanical stability of the system. The measurement conveyor uses precise and balanced aluminum rollers with special surface treatment. This ensures a low deadweight, avoids influence of unbalance and eliminates material sticking. Data obtained from the load cells are processed in the implemented PLC cards which determine the measured weight mathematically.The software included offers a variety of measurement data processing, definition of design profiles, statistical analysis of measured profiles and diagnostic tools.

The narrow-band filter of the MTS2SENS200 carbon dioxide with a CWL of 4265 ± 25 nm and an HBW of 120 ± 10 nm is optimized for the measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) with reference channel (CWL: 3910 ± 28, HBW: 70 ± 10 nm). The detector is characterized by an integrated thermistor for reference temperature determination and an interference absorber. They both ensure that the signal is converted as efficiently as possible from radiant energy to thermal energy. The basis of the IR thermopile MTS2SENS200 carbon dioxide are 2 chips with 200 bismuth-antimony/antimony thermocouples each. It provides long-term stable radiation output for industrial applications for control and monitoring of process gases, associated gases at ambient temperatures between -20 and 85 °C. The packaging version in the standard TO housing with cap is suitable for measuring distances up to 2 cm. The MEMS chip used in our IR emitters consists of a multilayer hot plate diaphragm containing a high temperature stable metal C-MOSI layer. The emitter chip has an active area of 2.2 x 2.2 mm2 and is based on a silicon substrate with a back-etched membrane. All thin film processes are performed using standard MEMS processes and cmOS compatible materials. The active C-MOSI resistive layer is protected against aging & environment.
