INTRODUCING NEWOLAN® NEWOLAN®- rheology additives – Products that make coating easier Many important plastics accrue during manufacture as fine particulate powders. It is often difficult to produce sheeting from them on a supporting material for example for floor coverings. Therefore, before mechanical shaping as a surface can occur, these powders must first be converted into a flowable or spreadable paste with a fluid medium. Such pastes are called plastisols. In the process, rheology additives optimally adapt the flow behavior (rheology) of the PVC pastes to the process parameters during sheeting manufacture. Under the brand name NEWOLAN®, NEWOS offers innovative and market-tested rheology additives that can be optimized to your requirements at any time.

With CONSTAB CON-Batch 30X, films can be produced denser and firmer - the layer thickness, on the other hand, can be reduced by approx. 25 %, the heating power by approx. 20 %. CONSTAB CON-Batch 30X masterbatch is used, for example, in the production of thermoformable sheets and enables the overall thickness of the sheet to be reduced by up to 30% while maintaining its mechanical integrity. It improves the mechanical and optical properties of the final product. In addition, the masterbatch serves as a processing aid in extrusion applications, enabling higher production speeds and a wider processing window, while reducing energy consumption. CON-Batch 30X can be easily used in monofilms and thus recycled. CON-Batch 30X can be supplied with a certificate confirming CO₂-neutrality.

Ecocell® is a patented, endothermic chemical foaming agent (CFA) masterbatch that helps improve multiple plastic requirements simultaneously. The formulation was specially developed for use in polyolefins (PE/PP). It is applicable for virgin grades as well as for recycled and regrinded materials. CEVO® process B-3680 can be used in unfilled, mineral-filled and glass fiber reinforced polyolefin formulations. Its application leads to a lowering of the melt viscosity and to an improved distribution of fillers, reinforcing materials and additives (stabilisers, pigments, ...). The components produced show very high surface qualities combined with a high gloss.

Effective lubricant and dispersing agent in transparent engineering plastics such as PET/PBT and in reinforced polypropylene (PP); lubricant, release agent and dispersing agent in polystyrene (PS), polyoxymethylene (POM) and nylon (PA, PA6, PA66); external lubricant for rigid PVC profiles; lubricant, release agent, slip agent and anti-fog agent in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), lubricant and anti-blocking agent in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA).

By the addition to the most different formulations injected parts can be faster ejected. The use in mineral filled, glass fibre reinforced and/or pigmented compounds improves the homogeneity of the filler and/or pigment distribution, reduces damages by friction peaks and leads to an improved surface quality. We recommend to add amounts of 0.3 – 0.5 %.
