The current throttle valve position is measured by an integrated or adapted angle sensor. The idle controller regulates independent of the load the idling speed or the engine through the throttle position. This leads to an optimised fuel consumption. Application: Motor Management Electronic pedal sensor modules comprise of an accelerator pedal, angle sensor, and mechanics for simulating the driver's traditional sense of the accelerator pedal. When the accelerator pedal is pressed down, the pedal sensor transmits information to the control electronics. Based on this information, the position of the throttle valve is calculated. In its function as temperature simulator the decade offers the choice of sensors like Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni 100 and Ni 1000 in the range from -200 °C up to +850 °C. The temperature is entered via keyboard or data interface. The corresponding resistance appears at the output socket in two, three or four wire method. The resistance decade allows a direct choice of resistances between 1 Ω and 1.2 MΩ. Depending on the ohm value the resolution can be chosen up to 0.00001 Ω. The selected resistance can be picked up via two or four wire method. The LCD display informs about chosen resistance or temperature, sensor type and control status. Customized Solution The mobile testing device may be mounted directly on the wheel nuts on any wheel on the car. The height and tilt adjustment allows optimal orientation at the wheel.
