The handheld UV lamps are high-powered UV radiation sources for UV-A and UV-C radiation. They enable the sensitive detection of luminescent substances through their high irradiance. The handheld UV lamps are available in three versions. UV-A and UV-C lamps are equipped with two UV lamps to obtain a very high intensity of irradiation on the sample. The UV-A/C handheld lamp allows the simultaneous or separate application of UV-A and UV-C radiation with the same device. All handheld UV lamps are mains operated and have VIS filters, which effectively filter the visible light from the tubes. Thus, even weak luminescence in the sample can be optimally detected. We recommend our additional stand to create a table lamp and have both hands free for testing. The HP-120i is a high-intensity short arc light source for quick UV spot curing within seconds. As a microprocessor controlled spotlight source with light guide, HP-120i is a reliable and economical „cold“ light source for irradiation with high-intensity UV-A radiation and blue light. The heat transfer in the material is minimized due to the absence of ineffective red and near-infrared radiation. The spotlight source uses fiber-optic cables in various configurations for flexible irradiation of one to four points. Depending on the light guide, UV-A irradiances of up to 15,000 mW/cm² can be achieved. The exposure time can be set through a digital timer with a resolution of 0.1 s. The shutter can also be switched by a foot switch or via a PLC system controller by an external contact. The typical lamp life is 2,000 hours. To achieve uniform irradiation, the lamp power is stabilized.

The use of ultraviolet-curing adhesives and compounds is constantly increasing. With the LedControl S UV LED controller, you remain flexible for future requirements. Due to the modular design, one UV LED lamp, up to five or even up to 16 UV LED lamps with different wavelengths can be operated and individually adjusted with one LEDControl S. For applications such as bonding, potting or fluorescence excitation, the wavelengths 365, 385, 395, 405 and 450 nm are available. With the variety of wavelengths, you remain particularly flexible and can upgrade and change over at any time. With several UV LED lamps, the irradiation can also be ideally homogenized to achieve the best possible uniformity. With the intelligent UV LED control, the power of the ultraviolet LED lamps can be individually adjusted between 2% and 100%. A timer for irradiation times between 0.01 s and 9999 s is already integrated.

The irradiation chamber BSH-02 is a high-powered UVC chamber with superior irradiance of 85 mW/cm². Like all BS irradiation chambers, the BSH-02 offers time- or dose-controlled irradiation of samples with UV light. The chamber is fully equipped with ozone-free UVC amalgam lamps with a total lamp power of 750 W. Compared to our standard BS series, the BSH-02 offers irradiance that is 750% higher. Thus, the irradiance is high enough for high-energy applications or UV curing. The BSH-02 has compact outer dimensions and the interior irradiation chamber has a base area of 46 x 32 cm and a height of 25 cm. The sample chamber operating temperature is about 45°C so that thermal damage to the specimen is minimized. Due to the high uniformity of the irradiation, the samples may be positioned in any order.
