Already anodized and ready for processing, Novelis SSL BF increases the range of coil-anodized Novelis products. Compared to conventional Novelis SSL, this new product is the result of production developments using special rolling processes, offering a distinctive surface structure both in appearance and touch. During the rolling process, an exclusive brushed stainless steel effect emerges from the special surface finish. Now designers and manufacturers have the benefit of lightweight aluminum facades, while they can offer the highly desirable aesthetics of stainless steel to end users. In addition, SSL BF can be supplied without anodizing and is then suitable for batch anodizing.

Novelis Advanz™ 6F – e170 is a heat treatable product developed for automotive skin sheet applications. This product is characterized by excellent formability and excellent hemming behavior. Novelis Advanz™ 6F – e170 is predominantly used for critical exterior closure panels, but may also be used for demanding inner applications. Typical areas of application are hood outers, door outers, fenders, deck lids and critical inners. This product offers best in class forming behavior during press forming and exhibits significantly improved hemming properties over standard outer sheet. All values listed are typical.

With fako® Polishing paste No.9311 a care product is available, which is specially developed for the properties of Plexiglas, other acrylic glass and plastics. Polishes deep scratches and scrapes. Matt surfaces become clear again, scratches and scrapes are removed. Unsightly panes become flawless again! The treatment process is quite simple. Clean dirty surfaces with clear lukewarm water and a clean, soft viscose sponge until adhering dirt is removed. Put some fako® Polishing paste No. 9311 with lint-free fako® special polishing cloth on the moistened surface and polish under pressure in circular movements until the surface is dry. Polish to a gloss with another dry fako® special polishing cloth until the residues are removed and the surface is dry and clear. When removing deep scratches, the polishing process may cause matt spots. In this case we recommend an after-treatment with fako® Polishing milk No.9322.

Potato starch is used as a thickening agent in a variety of food products, including soups, sauces, and baked goods. Its ability to bind water is an advantage here for food manufacturing and product development. Potato starch is also used as a binder in the production of sausages and as a stabilizer in dairy products. Potato starch can be used in the following products: Dough products such as bread, pasta, cookies, and also in other products such as candy, canned vegetables, meat products, convenience foods, and as animal feed.

Process steps are essentially concept, development and implementation. In the conception phase, free associations and thoughts play the main role. essentially it is about approaches to problem-solving. different methods for finding ideas are used here. Well-known solutions and familiar processes are questioned, alternatives are considered. The development transfers the approaches to more or less concrete forms, the first geometries are created. flow e.g. ergonomic, technical and aesthetic parameters. Materials are considered, manufacturing processes are considered. In the implementation, the detailed processing of the draft takes place with the aim of conveying specifications to the manufacturers that are not technically feasible or economically viable. Hand sketches and 3D software are used. Visualizations can be created to get realistic ideas about the products. Drafts can be converted into models in our own model making workshop as well as with the 3D printer.
