This robust, vertical installation machine is specifically designed to install Compression Limiters into a variety of plastic components. The machine is available in two models: the CL1000 is capable of 4.4 kN (or 1,000 lbs.) of installation force and the CL2000 is capable of 8.8 kN (or 2,000 lbs. of installation force, and is available with multiple installation tips in nearly any configuration at various elevations. The incorporation of a touchscreen operator interface machines makes our machines easy to use and customisable. Language conversion is easily executed to support international use. The Model CL is equipped with installation verification to ensure that the machine has completed a full installation cycle and a Compression Limiter was installed at each location. The Model CM Manual Compression Limiter Installation Machine installs Compression Limiters ranging in diameter from M3 to M10 metric and #4 to 3/8" unified, and has a maximum insertion force of 0.9kN (200 lbs).

Some of SPIROL's standard Pin Installation Models can be equipped with a pusher punch (in place of a pin insertion quill) to press Threaded Inserts into plastic assemblies. The most appropriate Installation Machine depends on the actual insertion force required to press the Insert into the plastic hole and the desired productivity. Generally speaking, the Model PMH Heavy Duty Installation Machine is typically used for low to medium volume installation, and for medium to high volume installation, SPIROL's Model PH/PHX Platen-Style Installation Machines can be used for simultaneous installation of several Press-In Inserts at the same or different elevations. Due to the length to diameter ratio of Press -In Inserts, it is not possible to cost-effectively tube feed this type of Threaded Insert with SPIROL's automatic feeding and Installation machines.

Spherical plain bearings are machine elements that can be installed immediately and are produced according to a specific standard. Since they are plain bearings, there is sliding contact between the inner and outer ring. Spherical plain bearings are ideal for rotary, tilting and swivelling movements and are insensitive to shocks, impacts and vibrations. This makes them extremely popular for load-bearing and guiding functions. You will find both maintenance-free and maintenance-required spherical plain bearings in our product range. Our maintenance-free spherical plain bearings comply with DIN ISO 12240-1, dimensional series E/G. The sliding pairing consists of a hard chrome/PTFE composite. The bearings themselves are manufactured with the tolerance group CN. These are also available in sealed versions. Capacitive sensors are designed for non-contact measurement of displacement, distance and position, as well as for thickness measurement. Due to their high signal stability and resolution, capacitive displacement sensors are applied in laboratories and industrial measurement tasks. In production control, for example, capacitive sensors measure film thickness and application of the adhesive. Installed in machines, they monitor displacement and tool positions.

Series RH600 Twist-Lok™ Pins replace costly screw machined pins and eliminate problematic installation of screws and rivets. The helical knurl minimises stress during installation by rotating as it engages the hinge. Corrosion-resistant material and a rounded burr-free head improve installed appearance. Axial and radial forces induced in the hinge eliminate the tendency for the pin to creep and maintain hinge tension.

The SPIROL Model PH Heat Insert Driver provides an accurate and consistent method to simultaneously install multiple Threaded Inserts or Compression Limiters at multiple elevations. Simultaneous installation dramatically increases productivity and simplifies the number of manufacturing steps to complete an assembly. Additionally, the platen head and fixture can be easily changed to accommodate quick change-over to different assemblies associated with new production runs. This machine can be used to install 12 Inserts into 1 assembly, or a fewer number of Inserts into a larger number of assemblies – as long as the total combination does not exceed 12 Inserts.

This versatile installation machine is suited for moderate to high production applications requiring up to 1.3 kN (300 lbs.) of installation force. The pin insertion head advances and retracts for ease of loading and unloading of the components to be pinned. The machine’s insertion bushing is positioned close to the part for smooth installation. A vibratory feeder and orientation head transfers the pin from the feeder bowl to the installation position, eliminating the need for the operator to handle the pins. A quick-clear mechanism allows for easy clearing of the feed tube without the need for tools when changing pin size or performing maintenance.
