On behalf of customers our highly-qualified team at GW Batterien checks and maintains used batteries or reconditions them in accordance with technical standards. This means you have fully-functioning batteries again with certified quality in no time at all and with little additional expense. Partial reconditioning or full reconditioning is carried out depending on the age and state of the battery which has been in operational use.

BORSIG offers development, production and reconditioning of compressor parts, as well as their reconditioning and modification. Our product program comprises plate vales, ring valves, piston rod seals and oil scraper packings.

Bearings belong to those components which influence the production process considerably and contribute significantly to its quality. In addition they are normally subject to strong loads. A high quality and availability of equipment can be achieved by preventive maintenance based on its actual condition. Through the opportunity of reconditioning (rework) of bearings this process can be realized considerably more cost-efficient compared to exchange of bearings. Reconditioning of bearings and bearing units can already be economic from an outer diameter of 180 mm. The costs of reconditioning account to approx. 50 to 85 % of the sales price. Please consider the larger a bearing is the more economic is its reconditioning. Usually the lead time for reconditioning is even shorter than for newly produced bearings. In addition to repair of our own bearings we are also able to repair bearings made by other manufacturers.

The repair works are located at our site in Bremen. Through the utilisation of all the resources of our manufacturing operations our customers enjoy all the benefits of repairs, maintenance and reconditioning in accordance with the DIN IEC60034-23 standard. For work on explosion-proof machines we can provide all the certificates required for order fulfilment in full compliance with legal provisions. LDW has a certified expert and the legally binding permits ATEX, PTB KTE etc. required for a professional execution. All AEG documents from around 100 years of electrical engineering are available in their entirety within our company. This enables us to carry out repairs, supply spare parts or complete machines that are electrically and mechanically interchangeable. As part of this process we upgrade these procedures in step with the latest technological developments. The energy balance is thereby significantly improved on a regular basis.

After chamfering with the ChamferCut technology, no additional processing is necessary. No need for a second cut, often required during the deformation-based deburring process for the removal of material build up. With the chamfering process, the exact chamfer form is cut. Usage: bars are introduced into the station, isolated there, automatically transported to the processing station, processed and prepared for collection on the other side.

The new Enviro 1000 is an automatic water treatment system that purifies the process water and compound produced after vibratory finishing and reconditions it for renewed vibratory finishing operations. The centrifuge cleans and recycles the process water by separating the solid particles and often also oils from the process water and depositing them as solid sludge on the edge of the centrifuge basket used for this purpose. This cycle of processes: Vibratory finishing, cleaning and recycling the process water and finally reusing the process water in a renewed vibratory finishing process saves costs and is extremely environmentally friendly.
