The products are based on textured special glass and can be identified by their light green colour. Extremely textile properties even at high temperatures are their particular characteristic. isoTHERM® 800 is absolutely harmless to health, withstands high temperatures and has excellent chemical resistance properties. Ceramic Insulated (Band) Heaters are predestined for high-temperature applications beyond 450 °C, for example for pipe heating in process heat technology, especially when gases are involved. Ceramic insulated sectional surface heating elements are also brought into action where a heat storage capacity is needed, as in hot plates the case. With the heating surface of ceramic flat heaters being composed by small-limbed ceramic elements with aligned holes in the centre for the resistance coils to be fed through, ceramic sectional heating mats are also applicable for bent or cylindric surfaces. Like Micanite insulated flat heating elements also Ceramic insulated elements can receive a metal sheath. The latter provides additional protection against mechanical load and allows for attaching connection boxes. Another advantage is the easy installation by means of mounting holes in the metal cladding.

The belt type is the preferred choice for large diameter ducts. Delivery available with insulation pre-installed for high temperature applications. Insulation depends on temperature level of the medium. Insulation is necessary to protect the expansion joint from abrasive media. Corners of rectangular expansion joint frames should be radiused. PEEK compounds can be supplied with carbon or glass fibers as well as with PTFE and tribological compounds with a mix of PEEK, PTFE, carbon fibers and graphite. PEEK-GF30 impresses with its improved mechanical strength and high rigidity. In addition, the creep resistance and dimensional stability is increased. The glass fibers provide increased life in high static and high temperature applications over a long period of time. PEEK-GF30 does not dissolve in common solvents and resists high gamma rays.

The new optoNCDT ILR1171-125 laser distance sensor is used for distance measurements up to 270 m and particularly impresses in outdoor measurements. Due to the laser time-of-flight principle with infrared light and a measuring rate of up to 40 kHz, high energy pulses are achieved, allowing stable measurements with very good signal quality. In addition, this better compensates for interfering influences such as fog or rain. The high temperature stability allows applications at temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the sensor can also be integrated into the smallest installation spaces.
