The RVU grinding machines set new standards in highprecision machining and are especially suitable for high precision grinding applications in the bearing and aerospace industries. The range can be equipped with up to four watercooled grinding spindles which can achieve a performance of 45 kW at 18,000 rev/min. (according to the type of grinding wheel selected) The RVU facilitates a complete machining processing without interruption as optional dressing units, grinding wheel changers and workpiece measurement are available. Additional options for hard metal machining boring and workpiece measurement increase the possible applications of the machine series considerably.

ELECTRIC HEATER FAN TDS 50 EPowerful mobile heating in a trice The robust electric heater fan TDS 50 E is the powerful heating solution for the building industry and agricultural sector, for the catering trade or holiday home. With its hard-wearing double-walled housing, the TDS 50 E is on the one hand flexibly prepared for different operating conditions, and on the other hand offers good thermal insulation. Designed for a mobile change of location, the heating device can be transported conveniently using the practical carrying handle. Unlike directly fired gas or oil heating devices, the electric heater fan neither consumes oxygen nor produces combustion gases. Therefore, it can be used basically everywhere provided there is a socket – particularly for temperature control in unheated rooms.

TDS 50 Electric Fan Heater The TDS 50 electric heater provides a heating performance between 4.5 kW and 9 kW in 3 stages (stage 1 only fan). Furthermore the TDS 50 has an integrated thermostat for continously adjusting the desired temperature. In comparison to direct fired gas or oil heaters, the electric fan heaters of the TDS series dont consume oxygen or produce combustion gases. Because of that this devices can be used everywhere, in particular for temperature control of unheated interiors. BORSIG has been manufacturing centrifugal compressors for process gases for almost 60 years. The BORSIG centrifugal compressor series comprises multistage integrally geared centrifugal compressors with up to 8 stages, with steam turbine, gas turbine or electric motor as driver with all auxiliary equipment (turnkey solutions) according to customer’s requirements. The compressors comply with the corresponding API design standards such as API 617 (chapter 3) and 672 (4th edition). The oil system is designed according to API 614 or manufacturer's standard. The development is based on the latest research results in fluid mechanics as well as in gear and bearing design.

With around 160 years of manufacturing expertise in reciprocating compressors, BORSIG offers tailor-made horizontal and vertical compressor solutions for process gases with all auxiliary equipment (turnkey solutions). Our reciprocating compressors are driven either by electric motors, gas engines or steam turbines. They have been developed for heavy continuous operation with lubricated or non-lubricated cylinders. They comply with the design standards of API 618 (5th edition), API 11P/ ISO 13631 as well as other international and manufacturing standards. Explosionproof/flameproof gas preheater EEx d -ATEX und IECEx zertifiziert In general a cooling down takes place at expansion of gases whilst a heating takes place at compression. Typical gases are carbon monoxide, natural gas and air. The temperature change, which occurs at expansion of gas or gas mixture from a high to low pressure i.e. after a gas pressure control is called Joule-Thomson effect. In order to prevent the effects of Joule-Thomson as icing or condensate separation, the gas will be heated up before expansion. The gas pre heaters are suitable for all kind of gaseous media (i.e. air, natural gas, technical gases, fuel gas) and low flow process applications, suitable for pressures up to 300 bar. The “Cast electric heaters” type flameproof electrical gas pre heaters are certified for use in zone 1 or 2 hazardous area, custom built to meet client specification. The gas pre heater consists of a process tube coil and an electrical heating bundle, casted in aluminium. The process gas flows through the tube coil and is heated by the aluminium block that provides the heat transfer. This indirect electric heating gives an accurate control of the process and eliminates pressure vessel design and associated costs.

The Holo-Litho 405 is the ideal replacement for the vintage, power hungry Kr+ gas lasers (406.7 nm and 413.1 nm) commonly used in holographic and lithographic applications. While gas lasers require several kilowatts of electrical power and cumbersome water cooling, the “all‑semiconductor” Holo-Litho 405 draws < 0.08 kW and needs no water cooling to produce similar optical output power. This alone results in a significant reduction in cost of ownership. Furthermore the user also benefits from longer service intervals and lower refurbishment costs. Trained personnel can easily perform on-site replacements of the individual semiconductor field replaceable units, reducing down-time and increasing profitability.

The 7G injectors are pumps for pumping and mixing various media. The basic principle is simple: a gaseous media is used for the actuator; this media escapes at high pressure and high speed from a nozzle. During this process the media from the surrounding area is also drawn along and can be supplied to the downstream production process. Due to their design, the injectors do not need moving parts, as a result they have very low wear and are robust.

The iPCX data logger speaks many of the common and standardised data protocols and field buses. At least 1000 running measurements from widely spread sensors, counters, automation stations etc. can be monitored in a parallel manner - via a 2-wire fieldbus, wirelessly or via network. Measured values are bundled and transmitted in real time to a shared and freely adjustable platform. Our security architecture for data transfer always receives top marks from the IT executives of large-scale customers. The iPCX is a compact, powerful all-rounder that can be used flexibly and is easy to operate with modern HTML configuration interfaces - despite its extensive functionality. The hardware basis is a robust, fanless industrial PC based on Linux with large data memory.
