Pneumatic drum mixer for highly viscous media. The FRP-HX is Geppert Ruhrtechnik’s drum mixer for highly viscous media of up to 5,000 mPas. The foldable mixing elements with a diameter of 200 mm demand a non-vertical installation in the drums. This installation is realized due to a traverse with a welded 2”-socket. Additionally the traverse allows the use of the agitator when the drum is open. The mobile mixer FRP-HX is by default equipped with a maintenance unit for the oiling of the pressurized air and mufflers. Special solution for highly viscous liquids of up to 5,000 mPas. The agitator is screwed directly onto the on-top 2” bung hole of the tank thanks to either a 2”-steel or a 2”-fluoroware coupling. Therefore, this agitator can not only be screwed onto steel tanks but also onto plastic tanks with bung hole. The mobile agitator FRP-LX is by default equipped with a maintenance unit for the oiling of the pressurized air and mufflers.

The FRP is Geppert Ruhrtechnik’s fast running pneumatic air mixer that can be directly mounted on 200 l steel drums with a 2“ bung hole. The FRP is mounted onto the drum with a 2” threaded adapter. The agitator is screwed into the bung hole. We do offer one drive especially adapted for low viscous media and one drive especially adapted for medium viscous media of up to 1,000 mPas. The agitator shaft is connected to a bearing shaft within the drum mixer housing by means of a sleeve coupling. This bearing shaft is connected to the drive shaft. Folding propellers are used as agitator elements, which can be inserted into the drum through the 2” bung hole when being folded. As a mobile mixer, the FRP can be delivered as a turn-key machine with a service kit for the lubrication of the compressed air and a noise muffler.

The direct driven agitator SPR is Geppert Ruhrtechnik’s solution for all industrial mixing tasks that demand a turbulent mixing with high peripheral speeds. It is driven by a three-phase-motor with poles between 2 and 8 as well as drive ratings between 0.25 kW and 75.0 kW. The SPR could also be equipped with a frequency inverter upon request (up to 7.5 kW). The agitator shaft is directly connected at the shaft journal of the drive via sleeve or flange coupling. Solutions with quick-change or precisions-change coupling are also feasible for lower drive ratings of up to 3.0 kW. The standard agitator element is a propeller. The GLP is a pneumatic top-entry series agitator that is used for homogenizing, dispersing, emulsifying and suspending in vessels and for viscosities up to 500 mPas for instance in wastewater treatment, chemical and cosmetics as well as in food industries. The NRK series is a compact top-entry agitator that can be used to meet high requirements regarding both surfaces and cleaning inside and outside of the tank. Due to its’ compact design, agitator shafts with diameters of 25 mm and lengths of up to 1,200 mm can be realized, making the NRK the ideal mixer for small tanks in food and drug industry. GMP and FDA conform design. The NRK series agitator has an integrated bearing and coupling housing with flexible coupling to connect drives with shaft journals. The NRK can be supplied with radial shaft seal rings for non-pressurized operation or with liquid-lubricated mechanical seals on pressurized tanks. SOMOS® RDX attachment dryers are designed for drying small volumes of polymer pellets with throughputs of around 8 to 10 kg/h using in-plant compressed air. They are ProTec's way of providing an economic alternative to conventional drying systems (e.g. adsorption dryers): the compressed air technology used combines perfect drying results with minimal operating costs and virtually maintenance free operation. The COMPACT swift dryers are designed with flexibility in mind. They offer an integrated solution, combining the drying and conveying of the raw material in one unit. The dryers are available in two versions and are each equipped with one drying bin of the size 80 or 150 litres and up to 2 hopper loaders with a capacity of 4 litres each. The COMPACT swift A dryer is provided with advanced functions such as dew point control and dry air conveying function with line purging. Efficient, accurate material drying is a crucial element in the processing of engineering plastics to ensure impeccable product quality. The fully-insulated LUXOR CA S compressed air dryers provide a cost-effective solution for highly efficient continuous drying of all types of plastic granulate with material throughputs up to 25 kg/h. Dryers can be mounted directly on the throat of the processing machine or on an adjacent support frame.

LUXOR S dryers operate at maximum efficiency and with minimum operating maintenance. The opportunity to have multiple material bins connected to one dry air generator provides our customers with maximum flexibility and no interruption to production. Drying can continue while material is changed in any one bin, minimising loss of valuable production time during material changes. The compact LUXOR S series consists of five models with drying capacities from 40 to 160 m3/h. Each dry air generator can be flexibly combined with a combination of drying bins ranging in size from 15 to 600 litres.

LUXOR A series dryers with ETA-process® and ETA plus® energy saving technology are specifically designed for supplying dried plastic granulate for many different plastics processing applications. The advanced LUXOR A series consists of ten models with drying capacities from 80 to 2400 m3/h. Each advanced system dryer can be flexibly combined with all LUXORBIN A drying bins from 15 to 2400 litres. In addition, motan offers a range of extra-large drying bins with volumes from 3,000 to 13,000 litres. These are also available with gas heating. All motan system drying bins are made of stainless steel, are completely insulated, and have individual heating as well as temperature control.

The new LUXOR swift 250 dry air generator offers the ideal price-performance ratio for standard applications in the drying of granulate. The LUXOR swift 250 has a dry air capacity of 250 m³/h. The dry air generator can either be operated with a single drying bin or combined with multiple preconfigured drying bins in your plant. The drying bins are available from 100l to 900l sizes. This gives you the maximum possible flexibility and an uninterrupted production flow. For more energy efficient drying, additional functions such as dew point control or return air cooling can be added. Injection moulders for making very small parts are faced with the unique challenge of being able to dry just the right amount of material for their process. Operating in extremely critical production conditions, these smaller throughputs can present considerable problems. It is important to scale the drying to the size of the moulding machine. The LUXOR CA S 0.75 to 5 range of compressed air micro dryers is specifically designed for small material throughputs. The range comprises of a modular line of correctly sized drying equipment to help moulders meet the small tolerances without waste or contamination. These small dryers take factory supplied compressed air which is expanded to atmospheric pressure. This produces dry process air with a very low dew-point which is then heated to the required drying temperature. No desiccant is required.
