The name of the estate refers to the former master of the property, Guilhaume Blanc, who was elected consul of the famous neighboring bastide of Sainte Foy La Grande, a stronghold for trade with England. Château Guillaume Blanc features a charming chartreuse-style building. Its vineyard now spans 65 hectares, fragmented into a myriad of plots. The estate benefits from a complex and unique terroir, where the gravelly sections are planted with Cabernet varieties, and the clay-limestone slopes are planted with Merlot. This wine is clear, shiny, ruby red with cherry highlights. The varietal aromas of the Merlot express themselves with notes of red currants and black cherries. The attack is frank, the morello cherry and the vanilla accompanies a licorice and ample final. Tannins are soft.

Prestige Cuvée bearing the name of the Irish priest, the founder of Brande Shepherdess in the eighteenth century, it is made of the assembly of the best grapes, and raised in French oak casks.
