Sisal fiber high quality and have characteristic of strong pulling force, acid resist resisting, wear-resisting and bitter cold prevention etc. It is biodegradable but has a natural resistance to sunlight and weather allowing a reasonable long life in external applications. TECHNICAL DEFINITION Cement-based powder filler with fibres for treating damaged exterior substrates. The filler is multi-purpose: can be used to fill, repair and rectify wall surfaces, with a smooth finish. SUITABLE SUBSTRATES All types of substrates : cement, concrete, concrete blocks, stones, brick, old paintwork, old tiling. COVERINGS Once the filler is completely dry, can be covered with all types of coatings and paintwork. Do not directly cover with solvent-borne paint. TECHNICAL FEATURES • Setting time: 30 to 40 minutes • Adhesion: complies with EN 16566 • AFNOR NFT 36.005 classification: Family IV class 4c MIXING PROPORTIONS • 6 to 6.5 litres of water per 15 kg bag • 2 to 2.2 litres of water per 5 kg bag • 0.4 - 0.43l of water for 1 kg • 2 volumes of water for 5 volumes of powder APPLICATION Application with a plastering spatula, knife, smoothing trowel. Ball Lenses are widely used for focusing & coupling light into & out of fibres. With the high refractive index of Sapphire (Al2O3) material, it yields a low spherical aberration that can be used in the range of UV from 200nm up to 5µm, and with it being one of the hardest materials they are resistant to damage. The key feature of ball lenses is their short back focal length allowing for precision coupling where size or space is a limiting factor in the system. Typically used in pairs, where one lens acts as collimator for the second to focus the light back into the coupled fibre. Ball Lenses are manufactured from a single substrate of glad and therefore, depending on the geometry of the input source, can focus or collimate light.
