Vacuum-tight metal ceramic composite components – manufactured from the high-performance material aluminium oxide and a metallic join partner – are the core business of Alumina Systems GmbH. These components are used where switching of maximum energies is involved, e.g. in energy, laser, X-ray, plasma, medical and accelerator technology. A great advantage of technical ceramics is the high electrical insulation up to high temperatures. Ultra-fine mist of micro bubbles appear quickly at pressures of only 1-2 bar (14.5-29 psi) and the unique patented design allows an airlift principle to move anaerobic water through the centre, thereby increasing efficient gas transfer. The novel anti-microbial ceramic also aids in preventing biofouling of the diffuser. Enviro Ceramic is producing ceramic micro bubble diffusers since 2010 and is based in Ireland.
