How effective a disinfection system is can easily be measured by microbiological analyses or basic swabs, which can be used to prove the presence of microorganisms on the tested surfaces. Dispensing with trenching works not only affects the working costs, but also minimises the resulting costs due to savings in time. CIPP relining only has a minimum and short-term effect on the infrastructure in the area surrounding the rehabilitation site. Existing trees, traffic flows, social and commercial life, material flows and running production in industrial operations remain virtually unaffected; therefore loss of output and immeasurable economic disruption (e.g. through traffic congestion) can be reduced to a minimum from the outset. Berolina-Liners (DN 150-1000 mm) are seamless, made of glass fibre and polyester webs, depending on the requirements. They are easily cured with UV-light.
