The Industrial TactArray is a flat sensor that can capture and map pressure distribution in even the most extreme conditions. Constructed from high-quality Kapton or Polyimide, the Industrial TactArray can pressure distribution of up to 700 psi and in temperatures between -40° C and 200° C. This system is best suited for use in applications requiring tactile sensors that can withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures—like heat presses, brake pads, and nip rollers. Alpha offer a range of folding solutions depending on the needs of our customers including manual, automated and robot folding machines. Our manual folding line consists of 6 manned Amada press brakes capable of folding mild steel, coated steels, stainless steel, aluminium and alloys upto 4100mm in length. Automated folding offers optimised machine cycle times through automated tool selection and simultaneous component load and unload. Parts are programmed offline allowing the machine to run components whilst the next is programmed ready for production. We currently operate an automated TBZ panel folding line as well as completely automated robot folder.

Kennedy Grinding provides a high quality regrinding service for all types of straight and rotary machine knives. We ensure all knives are straightened and checked for flatness during the grinding process. All customer’s knives are recorded, detailing geometry and wear rate, enabling us to give advance warning when knives are approaching the end of their useful life. We also offer a comprehensive collection and delivery service throughout England, Scotland and Wales. In addition, our technical department is on hand to assist with any problems that may occur.
