Desicorr® Desiccant Pouch Bags are a high performance dual action VpCI® Packaging product. Desicorr Desiccant Pouch Bags contain a unique combination of moisture absorbing desiccant as well as Cortec corporations patented VPCI vapour phase corrosion inhibitors for protecting all kinds of metals (both ferrous and non-ferrous) from rust and corrosion for up to 2 years. Unlike traditional legacy desiccants the dual function of Desicorr pouch bags reduces moisture in the air (the desiccants mechanism of action) with the enhanced protection of VpCI to protect various metals from rust and corrosion damage within a packaging enclosure. This desiccant action allows VpCI corrosion inhibitors easy access to the surface of the metal., free from the obstruction of moisture present already on the surface itself. Desicorr® can be supplied in both windowed and non-transparent versions. The windowed version allows for the inspection of the colour indicating desiccant contained inside each pouch.

EcoShield® VPCI 144 are premium, recyclable & replicable VCI paper rolls. This construction utilizes a sophisticated water-based barrier coating that demonstrates excellent resistance to the usual contaminants like oil and grease. The raw material used in this VCI paper contains 69% USDA certified bio-based content. This product is also recognised by federal purchasing initiatives under the USDA Bio Preferred program. Traditionally, Polyethylene and wax coatings have been used to create legacy wax VCI paper products. Specifically, these coatings have been used on porous paper to ‘seal’ the moisture vapour barrier that results from this approach. However, when coated this way the product becomes environmentally hazardous and cannot be recycled through the normal recycling channels. EcoShield® VPCI 144 is a competitive environmentally friendly alternative to traditional VCI paper rolls that contain wax, polyethylene, and other substrates.

CorPak®1-MUL/8-MUL desiccant packs are a patented design containing Cortec Corporations renowned & market leading VPCI® (vapour phase corrosion inhibitor) powder technology. This product provides corrosion and rust protection for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals contained within a package. The sophisticated VPCI formula essentially evaporates and escaped through the desiccant packs breathable Tyvek® membrane. It is then absorbed, bonding itself to the metal surface areas within the enclosure. This then forms a protective molecular layer that acts as a rust inhibitor throughout the life span of the pouch. Cortec VPCI 101 emitters are market leading devices designed to provide corrosion and rust protection for metal parts and components enclosed in non-ventilated cabinets, boxes and cases. A VPCI 101 device is capable of protecting up to 1 cubic foot (28 litres) space in volumes. These patent pending emitters slow release Cortec’s ‘best in class’ VPCI, Vapour phase corrosion inhibitor formula. The vapours emitted from the device form a protective layer at the molecular level. This ensures reliable protection for metal surfaces that form part of critical, complex and expensive equipment & machinery. These emitters can be used to protect equipment regardless of whether it is in operation or being shipped or stored somewhere in the supply chain.
