JME portable Betatron systems are a range of compact circular electron accelerators producing a high energy directional X-Ray beam. The Betatron systems are easy to assemble, operate and maintain. They contain no moving parts or cooling liquids so maintenance required on the systems is minimal. They are capable of producing radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity and resolution allowing operators to meet the tightest inspection standard. JME offer 4 systems within the Betatron range each with a different maximum energy, the outputs are 2.5, 6, 7, 7.5 and 9MeV. The energy output on all systems is variable from 2Mev through to the maximum energy and adjustments can be made in 0.1MeV increments. The systems offer cost savings and a greater degree of portability when compared with systems such as linear accelerators (Linacs) which are much larger, non-portable, and can cost up to 10 times the price of a JME Betatron.

Combining intelligent, advanced software and electronics with a truly simple to use interface, the Cygnus Flooded Member Detector (FMD) is an easy to use, cost effective and reliable system. The FMD system comprises three fundamental parts the probe and probe handler, the subsea electronics unit and the reporting software. The probe handler selfaligns and ensures correct contact with the member, even when approached from an angle. The subsea electronics unit is available in high grade acetal or stainless steel for the harshest environments. The reporting software displays a simple DRY or FLOODED result and Ascans for verification; and logs results for offline analysis or reports exported as PDF or Excel. As with all Cygnus ultrasonic testing equipment, the FMD is extremely easy to learn and understand, and can be used by a range of operators with varying experience.

Good to go Safety pallet truck inspection checklists is ideal for ensuring pallet trucks are maintained in a good working order Simply attach a tag to the pallet truck handle in a position for maximum visibility and then use the checklist to carry out a pre-use pallet truck inspection. Remove the top copy of the completed pallet truck checklist and place inside the tag (a duplicate NCR copy is retained in the book for management/maintenance records). The tag will clearly advise users if a fault has been found and indicate a “Do Not Use” message, or if all checks were satisfactory then users will be advised that the pallet truck is “Good to Go”. The frequency of inspection will be dependent on findings of a risk assessment with a bare minimum of an annual inspection being required.
