Automatic Number Place Recognition Cameras otherwise known as ANPRs; are camera devices designed to work at certain wavelengths (dependent on Country) to read a license plate’s number of a vehicle to then track it through a database to identify any criminal offences links to that car, such as uninsured; stolen; major and organised crime; and even terrorism. They are typically installed on motorways; busy roads around cities and towns; and also on police cars as well as specialised ANPR police vans. Knight Optical offers Colour Glass Filters for such an application, be it either long pass or bandpass filters. The wavelengths typically used by ANPR camera companies are: 695nm; 740nm; 810nm; 850nm; 910nm and 940nm. We offer these filters as either long pass or band pass filters. The innovative features of our Edge Bander's glue pot also allows us to provide a PUR Edge Banding Service which is essential for projects that demand all the benefits that PUR edge banded panels provide. Why is PUR edge banding better? Without doubt, the PUR adhesives inherent, and superior bonding strength (when compared to EVA Glue) is completely unaffected by high temperature and provides a water tight, anti bacterial, bonded edge, that will not delaminate under any conditions. PUR glued, edge banded, panels provide a prolonged life to, otherwise susceptible, panels in extreme and demanding applications such as medical and hospital environments and, in particular, toilet cubicle panelling applications.

To further improve our Professional Edge Banding Service, we recently invested in a Homag S300 KDF1440. Its automatic glue flushing system, and the addition of a second, quick change, gluing unit, allows us to rapidly change glue colours to match the edging to give a near invisible, high quality glue line. This machine also features three automatic spray stations. The first applies a separating agent to help prevent glue adhering to the face of the board, the second, a lubricant to protect the face of gloss boards and the third, a cleaning agent to prevent a "shine line" when polished. Each feature of our new machine, along with skilled operators, and a robust quality control procedure, ensures each and every panel leaves our workshop with a perfectly edged finish.

Wire Belt Company’s Rolled Baking Band is designed primarily for ovens common to the baking industry, where an extremely flat carrying surface is required for the direct baking of biscuits and cookies. These belts are often installed in biscuit baking tunnel ovens in lengths in excess of 100 metres with baking zone temperatures up to approximately 310°C.

Our stainless steel banding and boxed banding is available in the following sizes in AISI 304/1.4301 and AISI 316/1.4401 with bright smooth finish BA or matt smooth finish 2B finish are available from stock. Other widths and thicknesses up to 50mm (2") are available upon request. Aluminium and Alu/Zinc banding are also available subject to size of order and availability. Certificates of conformity, showing the exact chemical composition of the material are supplied with each delivery. Coils are supplied banded on pallets and shrink wrapped. Maximum pallet weight 1500kg. Our standard boxed banding sizes are available in grades 304 & 316. Banding can be supplied with sheared, handsafe or round edge.

At Stainless Band we pride ourselves on supplying a wide range of steel strapping and boxed banding for delivery to the USA/Canada. Standard materials 0.015“ and 0.020“ thickness, other sizes can be produced to suit order requirements. Grade 304 and 316. Full Round Edges (100% safe edges). Our aluminium boxed banding is available from stock in widths from 12.70mm (1/2”) to 25.00mm (1”) wide and thickness 0.30mm (0.012”) to 0.50mm (0.020”) Standard grade 1050 HH other grades are available at request. Coils can be supplied as standard 2kg rolls or as boxed banding with safe edges. Supplied on wooden pallets and shrink-wrapped. Maximum pallet weight 1500kg. A full export service is available for worldwide supply. Aluminium wing seals in 12.70mm (1/2”), 19.05mm (3/4”) and 25.00mm (1”) sizes are also available, and are compatible with aluminium or stainless steel banding. Certificates of conformity, showing the exact chemical composition of the material are supplied with each delivery.

At Stainless Band we have the capacity to polish material in coil form or blanks in various grades including AISI 304-S15- 1.4301 EN 10088-2/ASTM A240. We can offer the following finishes from 120 to 320 Grit as well as standard 2B or BA finished. Material can be made into blanks with lengths from 100mm to 3000mm long. Standard thicknesses 0.10ms from m - 4.00. and widths from 2.50mm to 1500mm maximum. Our standard tolerance is EN ISO 9445:2006 but others are available. We can provide coating films, PE and PVC surface protection. Finishes can range from smooth and slightly reflective through course, medium, fine and bright and reflective.

Our production capacity for stainless band temper rolled strip is 0.10mm up to 2.0mm with a hardness range of 0.1mm up to 2.0mm with VPN ranges TR 230, TR 280, TR330, TR380 and TR430 and tensile ranges of 800+ 1000+ 1200+ 1500+ and 1900+ n/mm2. Stock grades are 430, 301, 304 and 316. Our production capacity for stainless band flattening provides a gauge range: 1.00mm up to 3.0mm, with a width range: from 10mm to 110mm, stock grades: 430, 301, 304 and 316.

If you are sealing a high volume of bags, you may want to consider using a continuous rotary band sealer. These machines are designed to seal a variety of thermoplastic bags at a high rate. Many can seal anywhere up to from 20 bags per minute. The operator takes the bag and inserts it into the machine where the sealer takes it and seals the bag. The bag is carried along a conveyor. These are available in vertical and horizontal for different sizes of bags.
