In processes where there is waste flue gas heat at a relatively low temperature (e.g. chimney outlets of boilers), a significant amount of savings can be achieved by producing hot water. While the feed water fed to the boiler in steam boiler applications can be preheated with the heat taken, the hot water needed by the facility can be produced in various process chimneys. In cases where there is a low hot water demand, the flue gas temperature can be lowered below the condensation limit, and the total efficiency can be increased above 100% according to the lower heating value of the fuel. According to the application conditions, economizer design can be made with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium or PTFE (Teflon). Economiser equipment can be designed with smoke pipe or water pipe according to process conditions, and can be offered to customers with CE marking when necessary.
