Glass is a fragile material and standard float glass has low tolerance to impacts. By increasing thickness of the glass, tolerance for the impact will augment but will not eliminate risks caused by glass breakage. Laminated Glass is a safety and security glass. It is produced by combining two or more panels of glass with special binding agency polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer under heat and pressure. If the glass is broken, most of the fragments remain stuck to the interlayer, therefore minimizing the risks of injury caused by broken glass. Şişecam Laminated Glass is the trademark of laminated glass of Şişecam Flat Glass. Şişecam Ultra Clear Laminated Glass is the trademark of low iron laminated glass produced with low iron flat glass. The transparency of Şişecam Ultra Clear Laminated Glass is significantly higher, minimizing distortion of the original colors of the objects behind it.

Reflective glasses are solar control glasses with reflection characteristic. Offers a uniform appearance between vision and spandrel areas due to its high reflectance. Creates mirror effect from brighter direction of light. Lamination and enameling are also possible.

Tinted glass is manufactured by adding coloring agents to the raw batch before melting process. In the modern architectural buildings, IGUs with temperable soft-coated Low-E products are being used which provide solar and heat control as well as safety in the facades. In those buildings, effective heat insulation in winter is provided while heating expenses are being reduced, and the solar energy transmission and cooling expenses in the summers decreases significantly. Temperable Solar Control Low-E glass provides comfortable living areas to end users with its thermal insulation and solar control property; also provides best solutions for safety requirements when it is tempered. Besides applied on clear float glass with a neutral view, temperable Solar Control Low-E coating can also be applied on body tinted glass to provide a colorful view in the facades.

We can apply Georgian bars into IGU systems in order to give a decorative and elegant look to your windows. Georgian bars with colors of white, gold, silver, and any other color compatible with the color of your window can be applied into IGUs. Georgian bars have widths of either 18 mm or 26 mm.

Position of the venetian blinds between insulated double glazing prevents any physical intervention. It also ensures that blinds are not dusted, contaminated and affected by weather conditions. Thus, it does not require any maintenance and cleaning. Argon gas is filled between double glazing in all our products with venetian blinds. Argon gas both increases heat insulation and ensures smooth operation of the system. All kinds of qualified glass types (Low-E, tempered, laminated, etc.) and thickness (5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm etc.) can be used in IGU units with venetian blinds.

Noise control glasses decreases the effect of noise in the living spaces. By using glasses with different thicknesses in IGUs, noise effect can also be decreased. However, for the living spaces with a significant level of noise, usage of special noise control glasses (such as Acoustic Laminated Glass of Şişecam) is suggested. Noise control performance of IGUs can be enhanced by using Acoustic laminated Glass. The thickness of the laminated glass and the IGU combination should be decided according to the specifications of the current environment.

These crystals are characterised by a three-dimensional pore system, with pores of precisely defined diameter. This diameter is in the dimension of the size of molecules such as water, CO2 and H2S. The pores can be adjusted to precisely determined uniform openings allowing for molecules smaller than its pore diameter to be adsorbed whilst excluding larger molecules, hence the name “molecular sieve”. The different pore sizes of synthetic zeolites open up a wide range of possibilities in terms of "sieving" molecules of different size or shape from gases and liquids.

Window spacer profiles are used to produce insulating glass. It creates space between the 2 glass panes and holds inside the Molecular sieve which will stop fogging of the insulating glass installed to the Windows of the buildings. Primary and secondary sealants are applied to the glass panes together with spacer profile to complete the combination and have a good sealed insulating glass unit which will withstand differant temperature conditions.

Thiokol is a special sealing compound for manufacturing insulating glass units. It is a 2 component sealing material which has excellent adhesion to clean surfaces such as glass, aluminium or steel. The mixture made from 1 part B component and 10 part of A component applied all arround the insulating glass unit will stop permeability of water and keep the Windows safe for long years.
