VARIOcouple® The VARIOcouple® apparatus for torque and force measurement manufactured by CLA is a very precise instrument mainly used in development laboratories of watchmakers. This instrument allows quantifying and analyzing small torques and forces generated in low stress systems. In order to measure torque and force, a large range of sensors is available. All these sensors are bidirectional, inductive or resistive type with a good linearity and negligible hysteresis. These sensors allow to measure torque less than 1 uNm and up to 1 Nm.

The CLA SC-002 is bidirectional, resistive type force sensor. The measurement system is composed of a semiconductor strain gage. The measurement shaft is made of a 0.5mm diameter axis with a positioning notch for calibration and measurement. The design of that sensor is specially made for a high resonance frequency.

The CLA LC-01 and LC-1 are bidirectional, inductive type force sensors. The measurement system is composed of a displacement transducer which mobile core is linked to two leaf copper beryllium springs. The spring flexion measurement, which is proportional to the force to be measured, is performed by inductive sensor with carrier frequency. The measurement shaft is interchangeable, allowing the use of special shaft.

The CLA TSF-000 through TSF-5 are bidirectional, inductive type torque sensors. The measurement system is composed of an axis mounted on flexible pivots with cruciform springs allowing frictionless torque measurement. The axis rotation angle measurement, which is proportional to the measured torque, is performed via an inductive displacement sensor with carrier frequency. The small rotation angle, approximately 1° for all measurement range, allows very good linearity and negligible hysteresis.

The Digimes Universel is a 5 KHz carrier current bridge for resistive, inductive or differential transformer transducers connected in full or half bridge. The sensitivity is adjustable by the user between 2 mV/V and 100 mV/V according to six measuring ranges. Gain and offset can be adjusted with potentiometers to allow calibration of the sensor. There is also the Digimes Compact, dedicated to one sensor.

The EBATmètre® is a device for measuring height clearances. It is principally used to measure the moving parts of a mechanical watch movement.

The NEOvario is a high-technology device, which is completely compact and integrated. The measuring devices will meet the demanding needs of torque and force measurement fields. The BARImeter® is a precision metrology device that offers a great flexibility in the measurement of microtechnical, horological and medical parts. The differential pressure transmitters of the PD-33X series are suitable for 'wet/wet' applications. They have a single silicon diaphragm in their interior, which is pressurised from both sides and measures the pressure difference directly. This design enables them to measure small pressure differences even at an extremely high line pressure. The transmitters use digital compensation with a mathematical model to achieve exceptional accuracy of 0,05 %FS – in the temperature range from 10 to 40 °C, this value even corresponds to the total error band.

The series 13 pressure transducers have internal water cooling and are suitable for use in media temperatures of up to 350 °C. Typical applications include superheated steam circuits, engine test benches or chemical process monitoring.

The pressure transmitters of the 7LD series use the chip-in-oil technology developed by KELLER, uniting a pressure measuring cell, digital temperature compensation and signal processing in a compact housing made of stainless steel or Hastelloy. The transmitters are extremely resistant to environmental influences and delivery highly accurate measurement results as a digital output signal. The I2C interface and the low supply voltages make it easy to integrate in microcontroller-based systems. The extremely low power consumption is ideal for battery-operated devices. The high-pressure transmitters of the 7LHPC series use the chip-in-oil technology developed by KELLER, uniting a pressure measuring cell, digital temperature compensation and signal processing in a compact housing made of stainless steel or Inconel. The transmitters are extremely resistant to environmental influences and deliver compensated measurement results as an analog, ratiometric 0,5...4,5V output signal over a wide temperature range.

The HPX high-pressure calibrator is a high-precision calibration instrument for pressures between 0 bar and 700 bar. The functional calibrator is supplied in a sturdy carrying case and pressure can be quickly generated manually. It is therefore ideal for use in the field. The pressure is measured by the integrated LEX1 manometer and is both shown on the display and output via the RS485 interface. Additional functions such as zero point resetting, peak and trough pressure value indication and leak measurement make it even easier to take measurements.

The MPX pressure calibrator is a high-precision calibration instrument for pressures between -0,85 bar and 25 bar (after taring to ambient pressure). The functional calibrator is supplied in a sturdy carrying case and pressure can be quickly generated manually. It is therefore ideal for use in the field. The pressure is measured by the integrated LEX1 manometer and is both shown on the display and output via the RS485 interface. Additional functions such as zero point resetting, peak and trough pressure value indication and leak measurement make it even easier to take measurements.

The LPX low-pressure calibrator is a high-precision calibration instrument for pressures between -0,85 bar and 10 bar (after taring to ambient pressure). The functional calibrator is supplied in a sturdy carrying case and pressure can be quickly generated manually. It is therefore ideal for use in the field. The pressure is measured by the integrated LEX1 manometer and output both on the display and via the RS485 interface. The compact pressure transponders consist of a digital, extremely robust D-line pressure transmitter and a passive RFID module. They obtain their power from the reader and therefore do not require a power connection or battery replacement. The 21D RFID transponders are therefore perfect for convenient on-side reading of instantaneous values, e.g. during inspection tours or safety checks on large vehicles.
