Novostia, a Swiss startup founded in 2017, has entrusted MPS with the manufacture of its TRIFLO artificial valve, a revolutionary aortic prosthesis on several levels. Thanks to its aerodynamic design, the presence of three leaflets and the absence of physical pivot axes for the leaflets, the TRIFLO valve aims to satisfy the following three criteria: - A device lifespan at least equal to that of the patient, to avoid the need for a second surgical procedure. This means more than 30 million flap openings and closures per year, with no leaks, blockages, cracks, ruptures or flap escapes. - The artificial valve must not lead to thrombosis, so that patients do not need to take anticoagulants. - Operation (flap opening and closing, blood flow through the valve) must be as silent as possible, so as not to disturb the patient or those around him, day or night. The TRIFLO device is in clinical trial and is not approved for sale.

The ultra-compact and extremely light Nova Swiss solenoid valve is designed for hydrogen and inert gases applications for an operating pressure of up to 1000 bar. Your applications can now be realised even more cost-efficiently thanks to its minimal dimensions. The piloted 2-way on/off valve, manufactured from stainless steel, is monostable (normally open or normally closed). It features a flow coefficient KV = 0.6 m³/h. If the current drops at the solenoid coil, the normally closed valve closes reliably and tightly (safety function).

The direct operated solenoid valve offers all the advantages of the pilot operated solenoid valve at operating pressures up to 1000 bar, but is even smaller and more compact. Here too, the focus is on cost efficiency and reliability. The direct operated 2-way on/off valve is made of stainless steel and has a monostable design (normally open or normally closed). Its flow factor (KV) is 0.006 m³/h. The direct operated normally closed solenoid valve also has a safety function. In case of a voltage drop, it closes automatically, reliably and tightly.

The MD900 is an inductive metal detector for use in garbage sorting. It consists of a high-frequency field generator and a series of probes running transversely to the treadmill, which analyzes the product stream in a location-specific and location-resolved manner. The data for the opening and closing of the valves, which are transmitted in real time via an SPI interface to the valve control in the blowout unit, are calculated. Operation is via an Ethernet interface. All data for configuration during operation (operating mode, sorting program and other parameters) are transmitted via the Modbus / UDP protocol. For updates and error analysis, an independent TCP/IP interface is available. The sensor is connected via 2 connection cables to the blow-out unit.
