SUMMIT-XL STEEL is a robotic platform for application development (logistics, indoor transport, etc.). It has a robust design and can carry up to 250 kg payload. The mobile platform has omnidirectional kinematics based on 4 high-power mechanum drive wheels. Each wheel integrates a brushless motor with a high precision odometer sensor. The robot base can navigate autonomously or teleoperated by means of a PTZ camera that transmits video in real time. SUMMIT-XL STEEL can be configured with a wide range of sensors. It also has internal (USB, RS232 and GPIO) and external connectivity (USB, RJ45, power supplies 5, 12 VDC and battery) to add custom components easily. SUMMIT-XL STEEL uses the ROS open architecture.

SUMMIT-XL is a highly versatile Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) capable of carrying loads of up to 65 Kg. The mobile robot can navigate autonomously or be teleoperated by means of a Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera that transmits video in real time. The platform allows two types of configurations: with mecanum wheels or with rubber wheels. The former are recommended for indoor places while the latter are appropriate for outdoor environments. This makes the robot an agile and highly mobile vehicle. The common sensor options include a Hokuyo laser scanner and a range of RTK-DGPS kits . Likewise, it has internal and external connectivity to easily connect all kinds of components. SUMMIT-XL uses the ROS open architecture.

In this sense, RB-VOGUI is suitable for logistics tasks in warehouses or pick & transport & place applications. The mobile robot RB-CAR has RWD Ackermann kinematics. The traction is controlled by an AC motor with incremental encoder and the direction through a power steering system with absolute encoder. Thanks to its mechanical structure and the rear drawer, this mobile platform can carry heavy loads. With the configuration of suitable sensors, the robot can be programmed to navigate autonomously or teleoperated with a joystick or a steering wheel. It has front and rear drum brakes that allow the robot to stop immediately, by a local or an optional remote emergency button. The robot can mount any standard accessory from the company (Hokuyo laser, Sick laser, 3D lidar, DGPS kits, etc.) and any sensor required by the customer. It also has internal connectivity (USB) and external (USB, RJ45, DC/DC voltage) by demand to quickly connect the components.
