Compact Rail is a linear system consisting of steel linear rails with induction hardened raceways and high precision radial ball bearing sliders, also made of hardened steel. Thanks to their self-aligning capabilities, Compact Rail linear guides simplify the project, improve the performance and reduce the overall cost of application. Compact Rail linear guides are easy to install on all types of surfaces, including non-machined ones. Compact Rail linear guides feature a robust steel slider with ball bearings, self-centering heads with wipers, longitudinal seals to protect the internal components and a top sealing strip. The slider body is accurately finished with matte longitudinal edge chamfer and a shining ground flat surface. The slider heads are equipped with special slow release felt pads and are free to rotate with respect to the slider body, so that the felts are always in contact with the raceways to ensure optimal lubrication.

Compact Rail Plus linear guides feature double row ball bearings for higher load capacities and rigid rails with convex raceways and new robust steel sliders with longitudinal protection and floating wipers, Compact Rail Plus has been designed for the most demanding applications in terms of high load capacities, high dynamics and work environment. The profiled guide slide PFS is available in 5 series with sizes from 100 mm up to 425 mm width and strokes up to 2000 mm. To protect them against dirt accumulations, the slides are covered with bellow covers. Other covers on request. The slides are available in aluminium (nature anodized), or casted iron GGK-25. The highest accuracy class “Ultra-Precision plus” impresses with an accuracy of 0.0005 mm, thus 0.5 µm. Due to the fact that the control unit of the Föhrenbach slides is compatible with the interfaces of almost all measuring systems, this extraordinary repeatability does not depend on a particular system or a specific provider. Föhrenbach profiled guide slides with integrated linear motor are available in the series PFL (with bellows covers) and PCL (with sheet metal covers). For both series three sizes are available. WORKBENCHES BUILT IN STURDY TUBULAR AND MADE TO MEASURE The counters are made with a sturdy 60x60 mm painted tubular structure and the tops are also suitable for contact with food, as they are made of food grade nylon or stainless steel. They are ideal for wrapping and packaging products and supporting benchtop vacuum machines, heat sealers and welding machines. They can also be inserted in assembly and packaging lines, equipping them with reel holder systems or bench cutters. We can make benches with customized lengths from approximately 500 to 2500 mm and with any required width. The counters can be equipped with drawers (single or double) with sliding guides, rear or side panels and under-top. The tables are very sturdy, built in painted steel and can be ordered in the "simple" version with a NYLON top. The "simple" version is equipped with 4 adjustable rubber supports. Upon request, when ordering, the kit consisting of 4 wheels with parking brake can be mounted.

The control elements are equipped with dovetail guides ("hard-slide" coating) or cross roller guides and are rack & pinion, micrometer or worm driven. They have minimized backlash and a straightness accuracy within a few microns. The control elements can be equipped with one or two knobs or without any knob. Multi-axle systems can be built up using the control elements and corresponding connection elements. An intermediate plate (B40-RP) is required to attach the tube elements.
