Plywood sheets are available in various thicknesses between 1 and 40 millimeters. The standard size these sheets can be found in is 1 by 2 meters, this makes our BRM Open Bed laser machine the best option with its larger size when it comes to cutting plywood sheets. Not only is the work surface larger, but it is also more flexible than that of the closed laser machines. The table can be adjusted separately from the rest of the machine. Some models come with an automatic height adjustable work table, this allows the machine to be set to the correct focal height with the touch of a button. Laser engraving is often used to personalise products, such as beautiful wine boxes with a corporate logo or a personalised glass with decorative lettering. With such a vast range of materials suitable for engraving, the applications are virtually endless. Frequently used materials include wood, metal, glass and plexiglass. Our clients customise products such as wine glasses, beer mugs, pens, mirrors and wooden appetiser planks with our laser engraving machine. The laser machine software can read different file formats, such as .ai and .dxf. You can therefore always continue to work with your favourite graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD. The laser head moves at high speed, and the beam rapidly switches on and off. This makes the machine a kind of printer that burns the design onto the material. The laser machine is controlled by software which supports vector files.

How to laser cut hardboard Cutting an object out of hardboard or engraving hardboard; that’s what our laser machine can do for you effortlessly. Hardboard is used in many different products and for many different uses. You can use hardboard as a packaging or protection material for instance. Hardboard is easily cut, engraved and marked by our BRM Laser machines, which is a big advantage to the traditional way hardboard is handled. It is very difficult to saw hardboard, but with a BRM Laser machine, it’s very easy to handle hardboard and shape it the way you want to! Sawing hardboard is a piece of cake from now on. With the contactless cutting and engraving process of our BRM lasers, you can cut hardboard without having to fixate it. This saves time and ensures the material will not break.
