Precision resistors are used wherever the highest standards of temperature stability, error tolerance and durability are required. Models 1164 and 1166 are available for higher loads up to 1 W. The resistors are supplied with two connections on the front end (suitable for mounting on circuit boards). The precision resistors comprise low-capacitance, low-inductance wire coils made of MANGANIN®, which are encapsulated in small plastic cylinder housings. Prior to trimming, the resistance bodies are exposed to a meticulous artificial aging procedure. This special process and trimming to approximately half of the nominal tolerance guarantee long-term stability of < 0.02% over the course of years. The CSN® type RCVoltage Dividers consist of a proven reliable and high accuracy resistivecapacitive voltage divider. These are used for voltage measurement for control and protection systems in HVDC links and research institutes. The base for our Voltage Dividers are metal wire resistor webs that have been embedded in epoxy resin under vacuum. In this way, optimal protection against external influences can be achieved. Depending on the installation requirements (outdoor or indoor application), special designs of the voltage dividers adapted on the site requirements are used. For the majority of the resistor units manufactured by Schniewindt, the design is based on CSN® Resistor Webs. For manufacturing the resistor webs, resistive wires are woven meander shaped into temperature resistant insulation yarn. Besides the excellent high voltage strength and the typedependent low inductivity of the resistor webs, these webs are additionally suitable for high specific load operation due to the excellent convection conditions of the resistor web design. By selecting special high grade resistive alloys for manufacturing of the resistor webs, resistor units for operation under almost any environmental condition can be developed

The HH17/19 potentiometers in Ø22 mm housing are suitable for applications where a long lifespan and very high-resolution multiturn potentiometer is important. The high-resolution precision potentiometers of the HH17/19 series have a wire-wound resistor element, which is finished with a conductive plastic layer. Thus, the so-called winding jumps are omitted and the resolution is almost infinite. Due to the smooth surface of the resistance element, the hybrid potentiometer has a significantly longer life and qualifies it as a position feedback in closed loop control circuits. The shaft diameters is Ø6,35 / Ø6.00 mm (HH17 / HH19) and is equipped with a screwdriver slot. In addition, an optional integrated slipping clutch protects the potentiometer from damage by overrunning the end stops and facilitates the zero point adjustment. The potentiometer is available in a 3, 5 or 10 turn version.
