The series 6 pressure transducers are based on selected pressure transducers that are equipped with a pressure connection.

The pressure transducers of the PD-10L series have been developed to measure differential pressure. This transducer can be used anywhere thanks to its small size. Designed to work without a measuring chamber (uses a flush front diaphragm instead), this transducer is ideal for any measurements where the material to be measured may leave problematic residues. These differential pressure transmitters are available in a wide range of precision classes and therefore suitable for applications in the heating, air-conditioning and ventilation industries as well as sophisticated laboratory applications. An optional display allows measurement values to be read directly on-site in Pa, kPa or mmH2O. An optional time constant (up to 5s) allows the instrument to generate an attenuated output signal, even under fluctuating pressure conditions. The DAIL fulfils the requirements of EN 1114-1 for overpressure protection of extrusion lines and offers maximum comfort of operation. The auto-zero function enables calibration directly on the device or from the observation point/controller. On the output side, the melt pressure transmitter provides a switch output in addition to the analog signal which enables switching off the machine in case of overpressure according to EN 13849-1, PL=c.

Melt Pressure Transducer with Integrated Amplifier The DAI Series offers – in addition to maximum reliability – improved user friendliness in the form of an Auto-Zero Function for local or remote configuration. The DAP Series incorporate a heated sensor tip, which limits the potential for sensor damage relating to the membrane, resulting from installation or removal of the pressure transmitter. The Gneuss patented heated sensor tip allows the sensor to be easily removed from a “frozen” melt without any problems. The diaphragm is not damaged when the polymer contracts. The DAP has revolutionized the handling of critical medias, for example PC, PMMA or ABS.

The pressure transmitter is particularly suitable for measuring volume flow of town gas supplies or other gaseous hydrocarbons such as butane, methane etc. in industrial furnaces or combustion plants. The instrument does not generate any ATEX zone as its design and technical safeguards mean it poses no ignition hazard. The measuring range is scalable in the range from 10 .. 100 %. This can be performed using a keyboard and display (optional). The measured values can be displayed in all standard units. The AD / BA 1000 absolute pressure transmitter is designed to display barometric pressure. At the heart of the unit is an evacuated measurement cell made from an elastic copper material.The deflection of the measurement cell due to atmospheric pressure is measured inductively without making contact. The transducer emits an electrical output signal proportional to the pressure. The device can be powered using a 24 VDC power supply or a variety of AC voltages. Two optional contact points allow the user to connect visual or audible alarms that are triggered any time values rise above or fall below specified limits. The transmitter can be configured easily via an USB interface (optional) with software. This can also be performed using a keyboard and display (optional). The measured values can be displayed in all standard units. A selectable time constant allows the transmitter to be adjusted perfectly to the pressure conditions and thus ensures a stable output signal.

DIP switches allow users to configure the output signal and switchable measurement ranges (optional). Settings provide an option for conversion to a root-extracted output signal (displayed as a % of the maximum output value). An internal button is also available for performing a zero-point correction or fine-tuning the end value. An optional display allows users to read the measured value directly on site in Pa or kPa. With an optional time constant (up to 10s), the instrument can produce an attenuated output signal, even under unstable pressure conditions. An optional two-wire version of the device is also available for reducing wiring complexity. In addition to simple wall-mounting with just 2 screws, the PS 17 is also suitable for mounting on top-hat rails.

These low-cost miniature pressure transducers have been specially developed for very rapid hydrodynamic and aerodynamic in situ pressure measurements. The 2Mi sensors are available in a variety of housing designs and can simply be stuck on at the desired location. Despite its miniature design, the sensor chip is protected against external influences by a steel housing and a silicone elastomer coating. It can also be used in liquids.
