We are experienced in test system development for leakage testing, life time testing and end-of-line test stands in the field of gas & hydrogen technology. We also have a network of suppliers and partners who provide key components for leakage measurement, piping, sealing and instrumentation. As a general contractor and integrator, Merecs Engineering can individually design, assemble and commission the test system at our customers' sites.

The system is a self-sufficient unit and is made of a solid welded frame, contains media preparation, a hydraulic unit, and electrical engineering. The pressure test bench has a secure test chamber for burst pressure and hydrostatic pressure tests and, optionally, a climatic chamber for pressure tests with environmental simulation. Depending on the option selected, pressure change tests up to 2,000 bar and 10 Hz can be generated. With the test circuit for hydrostatic and burst pressure tests, pressure ramps up to 3,000 bar can be generated. It is operated on a support arm PC. Different technologies and materials are used, depending on the requested process and process media. Pilotclave pressure reactors range from 50 - 500 liter and are all customized. To quote such systems we require detailed specifications. Safety is important with such larger scale systems, especially when doing hydrogenations and other reactions under higher pressure. The degree of automation and process control vary from simple data collection to complete automation of the system. In most cases, the reaction vessels are jacketed steel or Hastelloy® reactors.

For dependable and reproducible hydrogenations Buchi gas dosing system bpc 2 in combination with Buchi pressure reactors creates an optimal solution for safe, accurate and reproducible hydrogenations. The Buchi hydrogenator is a turnkey hydrogenation solution, consisting of: bpc 2 (Buchi pressflow controller) for hydrogen dosing, control of reaction pressure and continuous measuring of the Hydrogen uptake until saturation Buchi pressure reactors, offered in different materials and volumes for high to low pressure applications The unique volumetric hydrogen gas dosing records the parameters pressure, momentary consumption and overall consumption. The BCP-H2 model is manufactured by Bluesens, and is a hydrogen analyzer that is easy to integrate directly into the gas lines. It has a cost effective and robust design, which has an in-situ gas analysis. The unit has a direct integration in gas pipes, and has installation of additional gas pipes is not necessary. Chemical appearance Dithiophosphate 25s or Hydrogen Phosphorodithioate has an appearance of a deep brown or almost black liquid. Some may classify it as a vandyck brown oily liquid and it has a density of 1.17 – 1.20. It has a PH value of 10 – 13 and a mineral substances percentage of 46 – 49. Chemical application and strength Dithiophosphate 25s or Hydrogen Phosphorodithioate is known to be a good flotation collector of copper, silver sulfide, zinc sulfide (activated), and lead ores. It can somewhat be dissolved in water. Also, it can be directly poured into ball mills and surge tanks. Hydrogen Phosphorodithioate is used mainly in the separation flotation process of ores like lead and zinc. Because of its properties it should not be subjected to intense heat like fire or extreme sunlight. Proper packaging must be observed. It is weak in collecting sulfide minerals and pyrite when in alkaline medium. It also is selective in collecting ores.
