Our latest series of 3 gas-cooled weld heads technical optimized and in an new design covers the tube size ranges from 6mm – 114.3mm / 0.250” - 4.500”. Unique construction and material selection allows a high duty cycle even without water cooling. The weld heads are one of the narrowest on the market and have a ‘quick latch’ system for retaining the collets. For the high duty cycle applications we also offer the gas-cooled S series weld heads in a water-cooled SW-version (the overall width remains unchanged). Our production facility meets stringent quality standards, such as PN-EN ISO 3834-2:2007 and PN-EN 1090-2:2018-09. We have implemented modern welding technology for group 1.1 and 1.2 carbon steels in accordance with PN-EN ISO 15614-1:2017-08. Our skills include working with steels such as S355J2 and steels with lower yield strengths, especially for material thicknesses above 3 mm for fillet welds (3-23 for butt welds), welded using the MAG-135 method. Argon welding is the word “Tungsten Inert Gas” that gives the welding method its name. Welding is also called the initials of this word and is referred to as TIG welding. The heat to perform the welding process is generated between the electrodes made of tungsten metal, which has a very high melting point, and the parts to be welded. The welding zone is protected by argon or helium gas sent from a nozzle surrounding the electrode.
