Unlike conventional 50 mm wide facade systems, its 60 mm size gives the system the ability to pass larger openings and make more glass area. Aluminum profiles are produced for use in various sectors and for different purposes, with our 1100 UST 5 ” and 1650 UST 6” extrusion lines in Standard Aluminum facilities integrated with the latest technology . First class aluminum billet raw materials used in our extrusion lines consist of 6xxx series alloys. The extrusion process can be briefly defined as taking the shape of the mold and lengthening the profiles by passing large aluminum billets under high temperature and pressure through aluminum extrusion molds made of special steels at high temperature.

With 6060-6063-6061-6005-6005A-6101-6082-6463-1050-1070-1350 alloys, profiles are produced with chemical and mechanical properties in accordance with customer requests. A new generation of façade consisting of a base system with an ample range of mullions and transoms that provides answers to the different style and construction needs for architectural projects. Its base profile range of 16 mm to 250 mm in mullions and 22.5 mm to 255.5 mm in transoms, and equally with the complementary accessories, are common to the new CORTIZO façades. The extensive profile range and their mechanical unions allows for all types of façades to be built (vertically, inclining, 90° corners, corners and polygonals) as well as resolving large and heavy modulations. This SG 52 façade is a traditional system, also known as the Stick system. The fixing of the glazing to the supporting profiles is carried out by using clips. Not all extruded profiles are required to be circular in shape! Whether it is a seamless or porthole hollow-profile, at ALUnna, we have a multitude of possibilities. Simple profiles, such as a solid profile or an angle profile, are also available. On some profiles we may have the possibility to further improve the dimensional tolerances by adding a subsequent drawing step to achieve final dimensions.
