With modern turning CNC machine we can offer quality production of big variety of details. All the sockets on the turret have milling functions: оne machine has two spindles and the other has a fourth Y axis. Тhe maximum diameter at work with bar-appearing deviceis ф60 mm. The maximum diameter of the work detail is 380 mm. The maximum length of the work detail – 700 mm.We also have CNC turning machines equipped with devices for the filing of rods with length 3000 mm hydro bar and maximum diameter ф42 mm. We also have a universal turning machines for producing of details with bigger capacity and smaller series.

Our modern turning machines with CNC controls of company “Mazak” can work details from all types of steels, crude iron and non-ferrous metals. This modern machining technology offers a host of advantages over more conventional processes. STEEC makes available to its customers its know-how in micro drilling by spark erosion. The principle of this machining process is the same as for wire spark erosion, except that the tool used for cutting is no longer a wire but an electrode shaped according to the precision machining require. The part and the tool (electrode) are not therefore in contact with each other, in fact it is an electric arc formed between the electrode and the part that will machine the latter. This is also called sparking. The part must be necessarily be conducting to be able to be machined by this method and it is prerequisite for using this method. This absence of contact between the tool and the part makes it possible to machine very hard materials such as titanium for example.

The vacuum forming process, implemented with simple tools, is ideal for three-dimensional shaping. In modern thermoforming machines with a table size of 1000 x 660 mm up to 2000 x 1200 mm, both negative and positive moulds can be used. Furthermore, we can process the components with our 5-axle-milling-machines afterwards.

Spoiler for the M5000 tram in Manchester, UK Bombardier designed the M5000 tram as a highfloor tram specially for use in Manchester. The spoiler consists of a solid stainless steel frame with a gluedon GRP profile. The profile was milled on modern CNC machines at TC, glued to the frame, primed and painted with a special 2KPUR metallic paint. It is manufactured in different lengths and designs. It has fire protection in accordance with BS 6853. For new projects, we meet fire protection requirements in accordance with EN 45545.

Novelty Steel is a contract fabricator of bespoke structural steel works comprising metal cutting, bending, machining, welding and painting. Our modern steelwork fabrication shops have computer-aided design and detailing (CAD), which is linked directly to factory floor computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery, creating a genuine seamless CAD/CAM environment. The cable channels in sizes 40, 40x20, 40x80, 80x40 and 80x80 can be supplied as 6 metre bars or cut to length. They are also available with mounting holes, which is a new feature for aluminium cable channels. These can be very quickly attached to a BLOCAN® profile slot by means of a pivoting mounting clip.
