The SPECIAL PRODUCTS section includes all FITTINGS, NOZZLES and SPECIAL FLANGES made to specific customer requirements in the following materials carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and superduplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium and other metals. HEAVY WALL FITTINGS are manufactured from customer specifications, or from accurate design according to the requirements of international codes, including ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME B&PV Code Section I, Section III, Section VIII Division 1 and Division 2, PED, RCCM, EN 13480, EN 10253 or others, and is supported by finite element analysis or calculation reports. In this product category, we have special tees (e.g. two, three or more branch outlets), special wyes (two, three or more ways, with piggability requirements), special caps, special flanges (e.g. swivel flanges, anchor flanges) and flanged fittings, and many other types of fittings designed and developed according to specific requirements.

Within the conservation of the world artistic heritage, it is always present the necessity of protecting the works of inestimable value from seismic movements, not only by means of seismic protection techniques of the building where the artistic works are, but also through the direct seismic isolation of the works themselves. FIP INDUSTRIALE has studied and developed a chain of innovative products for seismic isolation called ISOLART, aimed to the protection of works of art from the effects of seismic movements, through the decoupling between the movement of the work of art and the movement of the building which contains it, induced by the earthquake. These products are subdivided into ISOLART ® PENDULUM which is based on the idea of the pendulum, ISOLART ® FLUID and ISOLART ® SMA which is based on the characteristics of the shape memory alloy.

They insulate the surroundings from trams, trains and undergrounds-induced vibrations by means of rubber mats, or dull them by means of tuned mass dampers. FIP INDUSTRIALE has developed a wide range of systems to reduce the effects of vibrations. In the railway, tramline and underground sectors, the use of special rubber mats under the ballast or under the reinforced concrete platforms, permits to isolate the surroundings from travelling trucks-induced vibrations. SICURLINK ® system is a patented system used for the connection of prefabricated elements, based on the concept of the three-hindged arch. It is particularly suitable for seismic enhencement or retrofitting of already existing prefabricated structures which have been carried out by means of elements simply laid on the structures or with scarce connections. Autoflux The model referred to as “AUTOFLUX” is an automatic device, ideal for the treatment of spectacle frames in metal by immersion in bath of “FLUX” and subsequent hot air drying. Respectful of anti-pollution and security norms and respectful of operator’s health. All steps of the working cycle are controlled by protection systems to guarantee maximum security respecting security norms and ATEX certification.
