The floor panel is a sandwich panel used for floor and roof coverings, whose thickness varies according to the spans and the design loads. The double panel is made of two single sandwich panels, assembled leaving an intermediate crawl space of variable thickness depending on the type of building and the required wall resistance. These panels, prefabricated in the factory, are completed with concrete casting in the central crawl space the double panel could therefore be defined as a disposable, insulating formwork, whose thickness of polystyrene (EPS) sheets varies according to the insulation requirements. Externally, the double panel is completed using traditional plaster. This insulated precast panel is mainly used for main walls in structures completely built with insulating panels; main walls in structures with wooden roof or any other material.
