MOTORIZED STANDARD CONVEYOR TAPES WITH FIXED SPEED Motorized conveyor tapes are made of a structure in painted steel section with adjustable height supports and a smooth pvc carpet and a smooth pvc carpet moving on a sheet plane. They are used for the transport of boxes and packages in industrial and productive setting. They can be combined with weighing systems, counting, inkjet markers and used as transport systems and sorting boxes. If properly designed can also transport up/down hills. Complete with motors of adequate power, electrical system and start/stop switch. The geared motor unit is installed inside of the supporting structure to limit the overall dimensions. The Musik-Express ride consists of a circular development track with depressions and three cat backs. The rail is supported by a steel horse structure, connected to the central body by radial longeron and tie rods. The whole metal structure is hot-dip galvanised. Twelve cars run along the rail and are connected to a central rotor by radial sweeps. The foot-boards approaching the cars consists of an aluminium tread plate. All electric and pneumatic equipment is fitted inside the central body, on which the central rotor is fixed. All decorative panels are coated with aluminium sheet. Electronically operated lighting is composed of cabochons. The covering canvas is made of fireproof material (class 2) and panelling of the cars are fibreglass made. The cars are moved by 3 self-braking AC motors fixed on the ends of the radial sweeps and controlled by Frequency Drive.

Twelve cars run along the rail, connected to a central rotor by radial arms (sweeps). The foot-boards approaching the cars consists of an aluminium tread plate. All electric and pneumatic equipment is fitted inside the central body, on which the central rotor is fixed. The ride moves by means of 1 self-braking A.C. gear-motor fixed to the central rotor and controlled by Frequency Drive.

The Matterhorn ride consist of a circular development track with depressions and two “cat’s back”. The rail is supported by a steel horse structure, connected to the central body by radial longeron and tie rods. The whole metal structure is hot-dip galvanised. Twenty cars run along the rail, connected to a central rotor by radial arms (sweeps). The cars swings due to centrifugal force during rotation of the ride. The foot-boards approaching the cars consists of an aluminium tread plate. Politubes, in conjunction with DuPont, has developed a special spiral-wound tube made of heat-shrinkable polyester (Mylar HS), which enables automated fixing of permanent magnets, thereby reducing the cost of assembling these motors.Important advantages are: 1.Unlike very expensive steel rings, the spiral-wound tube also wraps around and protects the ends of the magnets, which are also subject to corrosion. 2.The trimming that often has to be done during the assembly process when using rigid rings is avoided; the Politubes spiral-wound tube adheres perfectly to the magnets, taking their shape and protecting them from cracking and scratching; this also guarantees perfect balancing of the rotor. 3.Part of the assembly process is removed, since potentially costly and often manual bandage with tape impregnated with epoxy resins can be eliminated; this avoids as well lenghty resin activation time in oven; productivity is thereby increased and hidden production costs reduced.
