High-Temperature insulating hose (HT hose) protects heat-conveying lines and prevents thermal damage to adjoining parts with a fiberglass and double-coated silicon rubber top layer. The HT hose is available as a self-contained or re-closable sleeve as well as a custom-made mat. The approximate surface temperature of the duct can be up to 500°C.

CORMIFLEX® tubes are folded spiral-seam pipes made of high-grade steel precision strip. Reaching up to 350°C, their high temperature resistance is predominantly used for exhaust gas routing in passenger car, utility vehicle, RV and marine heating units. CORMIFLEX® PLUS bears additional resistance against corrosion due to salt and other aggressive agents.

Air flow routing tubes are designed to channel different kinds of air to appropriate destinations. If you have a specialized vehicle and need superior flexibility in your air duct tubing, these products lead the industry. CARADUCT® flexible tubes are multi-layer, grooved tubes that are wound from a combination of aluminum and paper layers. They possess a particularly high crushing strength and have very good insulation properties. Through high flexibility and small bending radii, they offer good space usage, particularly when laying out in corners. Dükerrohr is a twin flexible tube distinguished by a particularly high insulation effectiveness to reduce temperature drops in the warm air ducting. Since it is installed outside of the vehicle, it carries additional protection against water and oil splashes.

Heat protection sleeves and mats extend our expertise in protective aluminum flexible tubing to other shapes and uses. Layers of aluminum foil are combined with fiberglass for products that can withstand temperatures up to 750°C.

Heat protection tubes are made by layering several kinds of aluminum alloy foil and other materials, such as fiberglass and plastic with corrugations. The excellent reflectivity of the aluminum alloy on the external surface reflects radiant heat, and its insulating power additionally serves to protect the aluminum flexible tube’s content from heat sources. These products have great flexibility but high dimensional stability, and they can be compressed or extended as required. They can also be fastened or mounted easily by crimping the end fittings.

Temperature measuring strips, for example, are stuck to components that heat up under load. The measuring strip shows the maximum temperature reached after the component has cooled down. This means that the maximum temperature of the component can be read off quickly and inexpensively.

In general, a Kapton film heater is always more expensive than a silicone heater or polyester heater. Where chemical resistance or the weight of the flexible heating element plays an important role, however, Kapton heaters are the ideal solution. The resistance of Kapton Polyimide to fungi, bacteria, ozone, weather, ageing and most chemicals, acids and solvents is very good, so that heating elements made of Polyimide (Kapton) are an ideal solution for many critical applications. Kapton foil heaters are also silicone-free and are characterised by an even heat distribution. The dielectric strength of a Polyimide film is very high and so the flexible Kapton (Polyimide) heater can be very thin. Due to the small thickness, the heat transfer to the component is improved and higher surface loads are possible. Our thermal management and insulation products are far from being just interim solutions. The Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) from Seifert electronic GmbH ensure optimal thermal connection between heat sinks and the components to be cooled. As electronic assemblies become increasingly compact, even a tiny gap between individual components can disrupt the necessary heat dissipation. Air pockets between the heat sink and the component being cooled hinder the optimal thermal connection. Possible consequences include temperature overload, which can lead to overheating in the worst-case scenario. Thermal management and insulation products act as connectors between the heat sink and the electronic component being cooled. Most industrial process temperature control units work through the pressure exerted on the water of the process utilities: this is convenient in most “standard” cases, given the higher efficiency developed by the system. However, some critical process issues can make this type of operation difficult: this is the case of machines that leak fluids, or with leakage, and that it is not convenient to maintain on the spot. In such cases, it is therefore useful to work with a vacuum temperature control unit, which sucks in utility water. FTT PD water thermoregulators are flexible and effective systems, which can work under either pressure or vacuum depending on the peculiarities of the system. Any fluid losses are therefore minimized during operations. A simplicity of operation is also ensured by the touch-screen panel, also found on other Frigofluid temperature controllers. Models with an increased pump are also available for users characterized by high pressure drops.

Often the main critical issue for molding industries is not achieving the temperatures needed for their processes, but maintaining them over time. Hence the usefulness of temperature control units that not only send the fluids needed to do the job up to temperature, but are capable of subsequent self-tuning.
