The HSHP – Drum Heater (220 °C) is suitable for steel drums (and with restrictions also for plastic drums). The outer material is a Teflon which is released for contact with food. The material possesses high levels of chemical and acid resistance. However, products such as waxes, soaps and materials with high water content can be heated excellently as well. The drum heating jacket is lightweight, robust and free of silicone. The excellent thermal transfer properties due to the perfect fit result in homogenous temperatures. Thermal transfer technology is often used in applications where the labeled product requires long shelf life or is exposed to tough handling. Examples are pharmaceutical, industrial and other non-food products. The A-Series T43 labeling machine guarantees excellent barcode readability even after long storage periods.

The multilayer label, also known as a peel-off label or multilayer label, consists of two or three layers of labels on top of each other. This means that three pages are available for your information. You can achieve a five-sided information surface with three layers and double-sided printing of the label. Multilayer labels are resealable and can usually be opened using a glue-free flap. As a back label, they can be punched in almost any shape and even printed using thermal transfer printing.

Presspack cells are employed in circuits where very high currents and voltages are present. In such scenarios, disc cell cooling is crucial for ensuring good electrical and thermal transfer. Achieving this goal primarily hinges on the connection between individual presspack cells and the heat sinks in disc cell cooling. This connection must be established with the clamping force specified by the manufacturer. With Seifert heat sinks and the accompanying mounting brackets, also known as clamping brackets, we offer professional equipment for maintaining the correct pressure in disc cell cooling applications. The WPC is an integrated solution to produce wires for switch cabinets: it marks them and crimps the corresponding wire end ferrule. The WPC loads an EPLAN or other CAE file and produces all wires within this list step by step. Cross-sections from 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² are supported. For each item in this list, the wire is cut to length sequentially with the help of the multi feeder Z+F EVOFEED® , the corresponding labels are printed and the correct ferrule is crimped to the wire with the UNIC-GV universal crimping machine. The thermal transfer printer (THM-MMP) is suitable for all markers and labels of the MultiMark family as well as for continuous material, fabric and polyester labels, heat shrink tubing or PLC labels. The operation of the individual steps is carried out manually, which allows the operator to route and connect the wires for the complete job in the switch cabinet wire by wire. Due to the high level of automation it is not necessary to change wires and ferrules.

Our fully-welded plate heat exchangers make a convincing case due to their minimal size, outstanding thermal transfer coefficients and comparatively minimal investment costs. They are particularly robust and require only minimal cleaning and servicing. This workstation enables the manual serialisation of drug packages and their aggregation into shipping cases. For this purpose, each individual box is first printed with order-related serialisation data by a thermal inkjet printing system as it passes by and then manually placed in a shipping carton. As soon as it is filled, the downstream thermal transfer label printer creates an individual serialisation label. The correct print data and print quality are permanently monitored by a vision system. The operator places the medicine products to be serialized on a reference edge at the infeed. As soon as the thermal inkjet printer has printed the serialisation data, the integrated vision system checks that the data is correct. If an error is detected (e.g. insufficient grading), the product stops at a certain position marked by red LEDs. The removal of the rejected product must be confirmed by pressing a button on the HMI.

To serialize vials and other cylindrical products, we rely on the proven quality and reliability of our labelers. In order to achieve the best possible grading of the serialisation barcodes, we integrate thermal transfer printer or marking laser units directly on the label applicator. The vision system immediately inspects the print data after the printing process. If the inspection shows a negative result, we optionally offer a label reject station which automatically removes the label from the process and therefore does not waste a „good product“. Both the vision system and the print engine are fully integrated in the touch panel HMI. Shift registers in the label applicator as well as in the complete system enable product and label tracking through the complete system.

The PAE range is an innovative new generation of pallet labellers that can label pallets on up to three sides with either pneumatic and/or electric traversing axles. The labels are printed with individual data in real time immediately before dispensing. The series is designed to integrate thermal transfer printing modules from different manufacturers. The specially developed production line can unwind, label, roughen, cut to length, strip, wind, bind and automatically deposit the cable wires. The material to be processed is unwound by a motorised unwinder and fed to a thermal transfer printer via a straightener. The latter prints the cable with two QR codes and a serial number. This ensures that each cable can be identified throughout the entire processing and manufacturing process and assigned to the stations which have already passed through. This traceability offers great advantages – for example in the diagnosis of faults. The cable then passes through a roughening station, which lightly roughens the material surface so that the connector overmoulding adheres better later on. An AM 3550 from Metzner Maschinenbau cuts to length and strips the cable, which is then transported to the winding station and onwards by a gripper to the binding machine. The latter winds the cable to form a cable ring.
