The HSHP – Drum Heater (220 °C) is suitable for steel drums (and with restrictions also for plastic drums). The outer material is a Teflon which is released for contact with food. The material possesses high levels of chemical and acid resistance. However, products such as waxes, soaps and materials with high water content can be heated excellently as well. The drum heating jacket is lightweight, robust and free of silicone. The excellent thermal transfer properties due to the perfect fit result in homogenous temperatures. Our silicone-free high-temperature drum heater is available in the standard size of 200 liters but can also be made to customer specification.

Air heat exchangers as finned tube heat exchangers Heat transfer between a gaseous media and a liquid Finned tube heat exchangers are often called air/water heat exchangers or gas/water heat exchangers. Heat transfer between a gas (for ex. air) and a liquid (for ex. water) takes place in the air-/water heat exchangers. To improve the thermal output transfer from the gas to the liquid, fins made of well heat transferring materials are put on the tubes. Very often air-/water heat exchangers are used as exhaust heat exchanger to gain the energy out of warm or hot exhaust fumes. Finned tube heat exchangers can also be used as air heater, air cooler or condenser.

For applications involving very high currents and voltages, Seifert electronic provides heat sinks and mounting brackets designed to apply the appropriate pressure for optimal disc cell cooling. Presspack cells are employed in circuits where very high currents and voltages are present. In such scenarios, disc cell cooling is crucial for ensuring good electrical and thermal transfer. Achieving this goal primarily hinges on the connection between individual presspack cells and the heat sinks in disc cell cooling. This connection must be established with the clamping force specified by the manufacturer. With Seifert heat sinks and the accompanying mounting brackets, also known as clamping brackets, we offer professional equipment for maintaining the correct pressure in disc cell cooling applications. This ensures a high level of durability and robustness, contributing to an extended lifespan of the setup.

Our fully-welded plate heat exchangers make a convincing case due to their minimal size, outstanding thermal transfer coefficients and comparatively minimal investment costs. They are particularly robust and require only minimal cleaning and servicing. Their design advantages come into play especially in areas, in which, in addition to the output, load capacity is also a requirement.

The secondary heating system is an integral part of the ContiRoll® and one of the decisive factors for its optimal functioning. For a perfectly dimensioned secondary heating system signicantly contributes to its eciency. The oil is heated in the boiler house to the temperature required and delivered to the primary circuit. The secondary heating station maintains the temperature in the secondary circuit to the press at set temperature by mixing the oil returning from the press that has already cooled down with the hotter oil of the primary circuit. The thermal oil transfers its thermal energy via hot platens, roller rods, steel belts to the mat to be pressed.
