Elastomer sleeves are available on request for Franke LSA slim bearings. They are used for tolerance compensation and for vibration decoupling. The smooth running can be significantly increased by an elastomer sleeve. Elastomer sleeves for the LSA 6/8 also offer additional sealing of the bearing due to the overlapping of the edges. Elastomer sleeves for Franke slim bearings are available from stock. They can be ordered when you buy a slim bearing and are then included in the delivery. For series production, elastomer sleeves are available by the meter for self-cutting. We recommend gluing the ends with cyanoacrylate glue (e.g. Loctite 406). The use of the elastomer sleeve slightly reduces the stiffness and accuracy of the bearing. The basic static load rating of the bearing also decreases slightly. Sleever wrappers operate with an upper and a lower film and are ideal in quickly providing heavy, large products with a safe protective packaging and/or transit packaging. Our robust sleeve wrappers are perfectly accessible from both sides. The lateral film unwinding units enable a quick and user-friendly roll change. As the product's sides remain open, film use is minimised. As an option, the BP 800 features an ultrasonic height detection system, enabling Hugo Beck's flexible banderoling machines to wrap products with a width of up to 800 mm and a height of up to 400 mm in film. In addition to our standard sleeve wrappers, special banderoling machines for special applications such as the stretch-banding of carton blanks are also part of the Hugo Beck portfolio.

Thermostatic valves - i.e. the temperature controls on the heating system - are found in just about every home. In the head of a thermostatic valve there is a metal bellows, a corrugated tube that expands according to the room air temperature. For these metal bellows, the manufacturer needed deep-drawn, very long and thin-walled sleeves. The challenge: the sleeves must be matched to the customer's downstream process under very tight tolerance specifications. Why? Because the sleeves cannot be further processed if the geometries vary. Absolute precision is therefore required. We can offer absolute precision. The customer commissioned us with the production of the sleeves. On the one hand, because we fulfil the special deep-drawing requirements. On the other hand, because we can offer an associated, targeted heat treatment for material stress relief in-house.
