User friendly, stable and very precise. By combining taper concentricity with no backlash with an extremely large planar surface, combined with high torque, BENZ Solidfix® offers a maximum in stability and rigidity, which is even capable of withstanding the demands of milling. The high torque transmission and the highest possible rpms also stress the effectiveness. This is supported by a special clamping mechanism which works centrally, without lateral forces, which in combination with the compact, highly precise components used achieves optimal values for concentricity, rigidity and accuracy in repeatability. Because of its compact design the system is ideal for tools with internal cooling.

Increase of efficiency and machining quality The modular quick change system BENZ CAPTO™ guarantees an extremely compact desgin by being integrated into the spindle. Special clamping kinetics for clamping forces are noticeably below the required range of ISO/DIS 26623-2. BENZ CAPTO™ can be used for milling, drilling and turning, with up to 100 bar coolant pressure. The system is especially suited for heavy duty milling and machining.

Quick change in confined spaces BENZ Nanofix® is a new quick-change interface that is convincing thanks to its extremely compact design. The outer diameter of 22 mm is designed for minimal spindle distances and is therefore particularly suitable for use in confined spaces.

Mount tools safely and in the correct position while remaining flexible, all this is possible with the UMB100 mounting unit. The tool clamping units can be changed quickly, making the system an ideal mounting aid for multi-tasking machines. It only takes a few seconds to replace an adapter. The unit with snap-in swivel can be pivoted 4 x 90° at the touch of a button so that even angled holders can always be mounted in the ideal position. EWS.PSC offers maximum stability and rigidity coupled with maximum flexibility. Significantly reduce your setup and changeover times while maintaining high mold flexibility. he EWS.PSC program includes a wide range of standard tools with PSC shank for milling spindles as well as tool systems with PSC spindle for lathes. Furthermore, tool holders with plate seat are available. The interface allows you to reduce the time spent measuring, setting up and changing tools. In addition, improved machine utilization can be achieved.

The rapid change system EWS-Varia allows to set-up a modern CNC lathe or a turning milling center – and this flexibly. A tool change will just take 20 seconds, which is an unbeatable argument especially in small batch productions whenever it is about reducing the set-up time and thus increasing the productivity. The advantages, however, are also evident in large batch productions. Preset twin tools lie at the machine, thus significantly reducing the down-times. A further advantage is provided by the variety of adaptations; so the optimal tool clamping can be selected for each operation. Technical information Electropneumatic driven, easily adaptable crimpmodule for processing of loose Z+F ferrules integrated in fully automatic machines. In the range of 0.5 to 10 mm² (AWG 20 – 8) wires and ferrules can be crimped. Standard is the trapezoidal crimp corresponding to DIN 46228 part 4. The machine can optionally be adapted to other crimpforms. Adjustments, important data, functions and status will be programed and shown on the touch display. Universal use in the specified range without tool change. I/O interface enables easy integration and time-optimized function in fully automatic systems.

Technical information The Crimper-LS is an electropneumatic and flexible benchtop crimper for loose insulated Z+F ferrules in the cross-section range from 0.5 – 2.5 mm² (AWG 20 – 14) and crimping length from 6 – 12 mm. Additional tool kits are available optional for 0.34/4 mm² (AWG 22/12). The machine is characterized through a short cycle time and an easy tool change. A stripped wire can be fed in the ferrule directly. The crimping process is started by a footswitch.

Z+F has been offering loose ferrules for multi standard conductors for some time. The ferrules come with an extended plastic collar and allow flexible processing of various conductors. From now on, as a world‘s first, ferrules on reel will also be available for processing multi standard conductors. The details are as follows: Cross sections and colors The ferrules on reel will be available with cross sections from 0.5 - 2.5 mm² (AWG 20-14), crimping lengths from 8 - 10 mm and in the established colors. Technical information The SC 03 is an electropneumatic crimp press. It is equipped with a very efficient pedal switch. The correct and fully controlled sequence is monitored by a microprocessor control. The machine is started by a foot-switch. An integrated adjusting mechanism enables a correction of the crimping depth. Crimping tools can be changed easily and are available for the processing of ferrules with a size of up to 70 mm² with different crimping lengths. On customers demand special tools with different crimping geometries can be developed and manufactured.

Rotary table machines are used for applications that involve production of large counts in cycle time-optimized manner. The machine design allows for dividing the application into several process steps. The number of operating stations depends on the respective task. The individual operating steps are performed in the different stations within the work space simultaneously with loading in the loading area. Indexed tool change is optionally possible.

Shuttle table machines are characterized by an operating area that is separated from the loading station. The plastic parts to be welded can thus be optimally loaded into the equipment. Thanks to good accessibility, assembly and loading tasks can be easily performed. Can optionally be designed with one or more work stations. Approach of several operating positions is performed by means of a freely programmable linear drive. In this way, weld tasks can be divided into individual process steps. The solid machine design of the h-frame press with section steel frame structure is the basis for integration of multi-head tools. Equipment with up to 16 ultrasonic generators allows for cycle time-optimized process sequences in one processing station. The weld tools are moved far up by means of a pneumatically operated H-frame so that large-volume plastic components can be comfortably loaded into the work station. The longitudinal seal modules for FIN and overlap seals represent high-quality, continuously manufactured seals for bags (horizontal and vertical) and chained bags. Easy sealing tool change allows for customized and material-saving seam design. Precise and easily accessible adjustment elements, as well as electronic force adjustment allow for highest-level sealing results. For applications with increased requirements to cleaning, a special housing has been designed that protects the unit during wash-down.

TYP C 043/ES Cutting, stamping and bending device for axial components Description To make the insertion of components with short leads into p. c. boards possible, the leads have to be cut to suitable length, bend to the required pitch and - if necessary- stamped. Both, suitable length and required pitch can be adjusted by adjusting screws. After this set- up the components can be processed. Cutting length and pitch are fully adjustable. The stamping result for the leads depends on the used tool. Leadforming ist tool specific and can be manufactured to meet customer requirements. The difference to the types C 043 and C 043 E is the integrated Pneumatic which makes the rearrangement of the Bending- and Formingtools possible. This means, that the tools can be approached to the components. Espacially bendings with Flush- Mount- bead can be done. The taped components can be processed automatically. The processing- speed is continuously variable. The tool change for different bending dimensions takes about 5 minutes. Components

TYP C 043/B Cutting, stamping and bending device for axial components Description To facilitate the placement of short axial leaded components that must be cut before insertion into the circuit board to the appropriate length and bent to the required height and - if necessary - marked. This axial taped components are processed in high- components. The machine type C 043 / B can be adjusted using the adjustment spindles cutting length and the embossing position. The setting is displayed on the relevant scale of the device. Optionally can be monitored through a digital display setting. The embossing tool is specifically for connecting pins and is manufactured according to customer requirement. The machine can be upgraded for the various tools. The taped components are fed into the machine and processed automatically. The transport speed is infinitely variable. The tool change for other forms of bending takes about 5 minutes. Components

TYP C 067 Cutting, stamping and bending device for radial components Description The Streckfuss machine Type C 067 is designed to process power transistors of types TO 18, TO 92, TO 126, TO 127 and TO 220 with 3 or more radial leads. Also different components (e.g. LED's) can be processed, which fit into the supply- shaft of the machine. The operation of the machine is restricted on filling up the exchangeable feed magazine with components to be processed. Optionally the machine can be equipped with a round- conveyor, to supply loose components automatically to the machine for processing. The tools are equipped with strain relief- valves to eliminate stress to the component body, when the leads are bend and cut. Once formed and cut the component is stored in a collection bin, seperated from shavings. The tool- change for different forms takes less than 5 minutes. Components
