Switch probes are contact probes with integrated switch function, that opens or closes after a certain travel. This is very useful for testing the presence or exact position of a component or a connector element.

The profiled guide slide PFS is available in 5 series with sizes from 100 mm up to 425 mm width and strokes up to 2000 mm. To protect them against dirt accumulations, the slides are covered with bellow covers. Other covers on request. The slides are available in aluminium (nature anodized), or casted iron GGK-25. Optional steel C-45. The ball thread spindle drives are available in the qualities T5 and T7 with spindle pitches from 5 to 50 mm. Fast and accurate measurements of the smallest resistance values are possible with the milliohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 2316. Due to the rugged aluminium injection moulding desktop housing with membrane keypad it is suitable for use in laboratory and industrial environment likewise. Wires and coils can be measured with temperature compensation. The temperature of the sample is measured with a Pt100 or pyrometer and the resistance is then corrected to the equivalent at e.g. 20 °C (adjustable) in the instrument. The water-proof sensor UVX-SE serves as robust, long-term stable measuring heads for the precise measurement of UV irradiances in production lines, that have to be wet cleaned. The sensors are calibrated with traceability to the PTB (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt, the German national test authority) and can be exposed to pressure of up to 10 bar. The sensors are available in eight spectral ranges and two measuring ranges. This allows the sensors to be optimally adapted for the application. The integrated electronics produce a signal that is transmitted to the PLC or panel meter, so that inferences are minimized. Operating voltage and output signal can be selected to match the measurement task or PLC interfaces. For small control tasks, the sensor UVX-SE can be connected to RM-32, which shows current irradiance on a 3.5-digit digital display and switches two relay contacts with adjustable warning and alarm signals.
