The molecules of the aluminum foil are set in rotating vibrations, creating heat that is used for the sealing process. Our sealing machines PolySeal Vario PN and PolySeal Vario Twin as well as all fully automatic sealing systems can be equipped with induction technology.

Our mid range frequency converters are delivering up to 250 kW output at frequencies down to 4 kHz. For high frequencies up to 2 MHz we have our high frequency converter series HU.

Inductive displacement sensors using the principle of the differential transformer (LVDT) can be used to measure displacement and, indirectly, magnitudes that can be converted into displacements such as force, pressure, strain, torque, vibration and so forth. Thanks to the high quality of their measurements, their high protection and long service life, these sensors are used in many technologies (industry, research, development, etc.). Applications include measuring, controlling, regulating and monitoring both slow and fast movements between machine parts, measurements of position and positional changes of components and structural foundations, servo regulators, valve and robot controllers, growth measurements and so on. Their design is robust - the internal coils and electronics are potted - as a result of which the sensors can easily withstand shock and vibration.

Inductive displacement sensors of this series measure linear displacements and indirectly all mechanical values convertible into displacements by additional equipment (i.e. tension and compression forces, extension, torque, vibration). The sensor body equipped with a connector has an outer diameter of only 8 mm and therefore is especially well suitable for the integration in dimensionally restricted structures. Typical application fields are displacement and extension measurements on: —Machines —Servo systems —Motor vehicles —Test benches —Production plants The cylindrical case made of stainless steel, houses a differential transformer (LVDT). It consists of a primary and two secondary coils with axially moveable core. A displacement of this core changes the magnetic induction of the coils. The INLINE carrier frequency amplifier converts the displacement into a direct proportional electrical DC voltage.

The 0.02 class calibration resistors excel in their modern design and small mechanical dimensions. Their ruggedness also ensures a long life. Calibration resistors of the 1240 series are used wherever very constant operating standards are required. Metallux has been developing sensors for over 35 years: pressure measuring cells, pressure transmitters as well as potentiometers and membrane sensors to determine an angular or linear position.

The 92 Ex series sensors are used as diffuse reflection light scanners, through beam photoelectric sensors and retro-reflective sensors. They can efficiently detect objects within a distance range of 300 mm to 12 m. They are intrinsically safe and are capable of transmitting switching signals to the VS 403 isolated switching amplifier with the use of the NAMUR interface. It has a T6 temperature class for use in areas with explosive gas and 80°C for areas with explosive dust.

The name “CUSTOM” already says it all: HF generators of this series are configured precisely for the relevant production task. Their HF power ranges from 100 to 1,500 kW. The frequency range is 80 to 400 kHz. Induction generators with high power density On this basis, numerous combinations of power and frequency are possible – a key prerequisite for effective induction heating. eldec induction generators also provide high-precision energy dosing, which guarantees the reproducibility of the process. In addition, CUSTOM LINE HF generators are available with a comprehensive bundle of options: Offers include hose bundles of various lengths, a Profibus interface, pyrometer-based temperature control, as well as a cable box with a heating cable for shrink applications.

eldec brazing systems: automatic induction brazing of pole coils The semi-automatic equipment is designed for manufacturing pole coils of hydro and wind power generators. The machine is based on the experience of the previous manufactured equipments. The machine is designed as a sturdy, high quality and low maintenance machine. The operating is very simple, on automatic mode by 2-hand operation with step by step program and on manual mode by touch-panel.

Energy source and coolant system — the MICO-S is a complete system in a single housing. This enables a flexible integration of induction heating into any production process. The devices are available in a medium frequency and a high frequency version. The specialists at eldec are using the MICO-S generators for the induction heating and hardening of components with a very flexible process. PICO-L: powerful induction heating for economical processes The generators of the PICO series make induction heating easier, more efficient, and safer. With PICO-L you can choose from medium-frequency versions (100 and 150 kW) or high-frequency versions (50 and 75 kW). Powerhouse for induction heating Mobile, easy to operate, stable design, and comprehensively tested – these are the hallmarks of all PICO devices from eldec. The “L” designates the most powerful version with up to 150 kW in the medium-frequency version. On top of that, the device naturally also features the high quality typical of the PICO series: For example, the temperatures of cooling water and heat sinks are monitored continuously, as is the temperature of the generator and inductor cooling water. This ensures a high degree of work safety and operational availability for induction heating.

It doesn’t get any more flexible: The MICO-M generator comes with casters so that it can be moved quickly wherever needed. Customers may choose between a medium-frequency (20, 25, or 30 kW) and a high-frequency version (15 kW). With SDF® generators, two different frequencies act simultaneously on the workpiece to be heated, causing the entire component to be induction-hardened with absolutely uniform depth and temperature. Such as gearwheels, for example: While medium frequencies essentially penetrate more deeply into the gearwheel, primarily heating the tooth base, the high frequencies heat the tooth tip. This is why the SDF® method applies two different frequencies simultaneously to the workpiece to be heated. The entire component is heated with absolutely uniform depth and temperature.

nduction Heating and Joining in one turnkey system. This turnkey system is used to heat electric motor housings with various dimensions for a wide range of joining processes. Example Heating System 1: the die-cast aluminium housing for an asynchronous motor (diameter 450 mm) is heated to approx. 290°C in approx. 5 minutes to fit the wound stator package. The parts are loaded and unloaded from the feeding belt parallel to the working time. The heating process takes place in two independent work stations. The generator has a switched output which means that only one generator is required for the two heating stations. The system is controlled using a SIEMENS PLC controller. Example Heating System 2: the aluminium housing (diameter 140 mm) of a synchronous motor is heated to approx. 280°C in approx. 3 minutes to fit the stator. The component is loaded into and unloaded from the heating station semiautomatically. The system is controlled using a PLC.

With the new PICO-S series, eldec presents an extremely compact mobile generator. Depending on the model, it can be configured as a medium frequency energy source (5 up to 30 kW) or high frequency energy source (5 up to 15 kW). TDS Induction Mixers draw powder, liquids or gases below their level into liquids and at the same time homogenise the contents of the container. The vacuum required for induction is generated in the mixing head. The machine is installed in the container from above by means of a flange or traverse. Alternatively, the TDS Induction Mixer can work on a lifting frame. The powder is inducted from the container and introduced under the fluid level by mixing it immediately and wetting. The mixing head generates the required negative pressure. Dust loads are prevented during the addition of powder by direct induction from the bag. Effective micro and macro mixing of the complete container contents with simultaneous addition of powder. Immediate wetting under fluid level.
