Any disruption in the ground links results in an automatic shutdown of the process. The Terracompact II is a standard enclosure for mounting on DIN 46277 top-hat rails for installation in a control cabinet or a control room.

The TERRACAP TCB040 grounding system is used to ground tanker trucks. If a connection has sufficient low resistance when the grounding clamp is attached, the device discharges electrostatic charges safely via a resistor preventing spark discharge. The device then checks the capacity detected at the clamp. If the capacity for the tanker truck is correct, a green display lights up and the interlocking relay enables the pumping process. The device then forms a low-resistance connection to the ground, which prevents further build-up of electrostatic charges.
